Got your mod request from #modreq. :D

I'm new to modding, so d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶t̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶s̶e̶r̶i̶o̶u̶s̶l̶y̶ excuse any newbie mistakes I make. xD

Normal
-Approach rate feels slow. Try an AR5. Some parts of the map had a few too many circles on it so I'm thinking a faster AR.
-Spinner at 01:56:531 could be replaced with a slider
-02:05:001 needs distance snap

Hard
-4 at 00:56:707, the jump seems like something that would be on Insane maps

Insane
-I don't know what to say. It's simple and beautifully executed. Or maybe it's my bias towards jumpy maps.

Great work!

Thank you very much. Your normal mod helped me quite a bit honestly. I didn't realize that distance snap there! So after fixing that up I had to fix up most of the positions of the notes that came after it. Have a star!

Check your distances again, AiMod is spitting out warnings.

00:32:354 (6,2) - this overlap doesn't really look neat, you should better stack
No more to say about this, you need to keep distances equal at >=95% of the time (the rest are rare exceptions).

[Hard]
00:29:531 (3,5) - stack
00:32:178 (3,5) - don't overlap
00:35:001 (2) - reposition at x:148, y:260
01:12:943 (1,3) - bad overlap
01:32:707 (1,4) - ^
01:33:943 (5,6,8) - ^
02:08:707 (4,6,7) - ^
02:10:649 (2,4) - better stack

[Insane]
That looks nice, but there are still some flaws.

00:09:766 (5,6) - straightdown jumps is something i usually avoid, but this is just preference
00:13:119 (3) - reposition at x:428 y:292, better flow
00:20:884 (4) - reposition at x:156, y:260 and improve blanket http://puu.sh/aJIet/8f97b43d88.jpg
00:32:002 (3) - bad overlap
00:53:531 (1,2,1,2,1) - it would be better if you rearrage the sliders a bit, putting all at the same positions doesn't feel good
01:06:766 (1,1) - bad overlap
01:54:943 (7) - reposition at x:188, y:256 for better flow
01:58:295 - optional circle add
02:03:060 (2,3,4,5) - i'd rather go with this, it feels much better to play: http://puu.sh/aJIvH/dd844a25d6.jpg

Good balanced maps, you could still improve flow and patterns at some parts, but this comes with time and experience.
Keep your work up! :)

Yahello~! greetings from my modding queue. Omg this song is really nice!

[Insane]
Overall, a pretty solid map. Just has a few things that could be fine tuned.
  1. 00:06:589 (3) - Fix this blanket, use 2's approach circle as guidance
  2. 00:30:060 (5) - Move 5 to x=152 y=216 for perfect blanket with 4. ALSO fix 5 so that it curves around the slider end of 4. For this, you can use the silderball indicator as guidance.
  3. 00:32:707 (5) - I think it looks better if you move 5 to x=324 y=116 so that both 4 and 6 sort of blanket around 5
  4. 00:33:236 (1,2,3) - 1 and 2 and 3 are inconsistent with each other. Look at my before and after example
    Before and After
    Before

    After
  5. 00:45:325 (2) - make this slider blanket perfectly by dragging the endpoint down so it looks like this
  6. 01:15:413 (3) - make this blanket better with 2
  7. 01:41:001 (1) - NC
  8. 01:46:648 (1,2,3,4,5) - the spacing here is inconsisten, make the objects in the stream all the same distance spacing.\
  9. 01:51:589 - move the start of the spinner here and extend the slider before it to fill that beat.
  10. 02:11:001 (3) - you can probably make it blanket with the slider end of 2
  11. 02:14:531 (4) - move the end point of this slider to x=64 y=240 for perfect blanket
  12. 02:27:060 (1) - optional* add a Finish to this beat!
[Hard]
  1. 00:20:354 (3) - make blanket neater by moving midpoint inward
  2. 00:39:766 (8,1,2) - consider spacing 8 further from 1 than 1 is to 2 because 8 > 1 is a long pause compared 1 > 2, yet they have the same distance spacing.
  3. 00:41:707 (5) - this is spaced too close to the slider end. It will make people think it's a fast beat when there's actually a pause. Consider changing the distance spacing here. ALSO make this a NC.
  4. 00:47:531 9 (7,1) - Short distance spacing for pauses and long distance spacing for regular beats? This jump is quite unexpected. You need to build up to something like this by using repetition. Meaning, something like this has to show up earlier, and during a similar phrase. Miku's phrases the entire song are almost exactly the same, so this wouldn't be hard, but you made the distance spacing of the long pauses earlier quite small, which is why this is a startling jump.
  5. 00:56:001 (3) - You're going to want to space this a little closer to 2 to indicate that there is only an eighth-beat in between the two compared the similarly spaced 1 before 2, which is a quarter-step away.
  6. 00:56:531 (3) - Silence the slider end hitsound because it ruins Miku's vocal part. <3
  7. 01:40:295 (1) - Remove NC
  8. 01:41:001 (2) - Add NC
  9. 01:44:001 (1) - Remove NC
  10. 01:44:707 (3) - Add NC
  11. 01:51:589 - Move the beginning of the spinner here, and then extend the previous slider to fill the missing beat.
  12. 02:03:766 (3) - Move this closer to 2 so it's like, 1 tiny grid space away from it.
[Normal]
  1. 00:07:648 (3) - Make this blanket 2
  2. 00:42:413 (4) - this slider sounds really weird right here. I think it sounds MUCH better if you move it forward to the next red tick, THEN move 5 so that it's properly distance spaced.
  3. 01:05:178 (1) - make neater blanket
  4. 02:06:589 (4) - bring the endpoint downward a little so that it makes the perfect blanket
  5. 02:25:825 (7,8) - Either make 7 or 8 a NC. Either one looks nice :P
Good luck! I think you're off to a great start~

00:08:354 (4,5) - Convert to slider, maybe try this . .

00:14:002 (1) - ^ Same

00:18:766 (3) - How about like this?

No issues found in Normal.

Hard:
The mini-pause at 00:08:178 messes up the rhythm, consider making a circle there.
The mini-pause at 00:08:707 as well, same there, consider making a circle.

Advising to snap distance on slider at 00:10:295, it's confusing if not.
Same to slider at 00:19:648, and circle at 00:20:178.

Missing circle at 00:43:825? It feels strange without it since she was not done singing the whole word.

I like the pattern on first kiai time, it feels very comfortable to play.

01:39:060 to 01:39:942 sounds a bit wierd, the slider starts at no good rhythm. Try like this instead.
Add circle at 01:40:825(matches beat) and/or snap distance for slider at 01:41:001. Personally I prefer adding circle and no need to snap distance, but it's up to you.

Shorten slider at 01:42:942, ending it at 01:43:295 makes not much sense. Shorten it to end at 01:43:119 instead, if you want to add circle at 01:43:295, go ahead but I think that a mini-pause is appropriate there.

I think distance between circles at 02:04:472 and 02:05:001 are a bit too close and might cause confusion and player tend to click 02:05:001 much earlier because they are so close.

No problem found in Insane.

As whole, I think that it's a good song, and it's well-mapped, good job! And I hope it gets ranked ^^

Sorry about I mod your beatmap so late as I am little bit busy.
Also, sorry about my poor English...

[Normal]

01:14:707 (2) - I think you can put it at (280,200) so you can make 01:15:060 (3) be placed on 01:13:649 (2). After that, you should move those notes which are after the note which I just pointed out.

01:16:472 (5) - Move it upwards in order to reflect with 01:15:060 (3). Please remember to move 01:17:178 (1) in order to make the distance of it and the previous one sensible.

01:17:884 - I suggest adding a spinner here. Just follow your sense. If you follow me, you will need to make the break time start at 01:20:001. Whatever you follow me or not, you also need to make the break time end at
01:29:001.

01:39:060 (5) - Make the start terminal of it at (228,124) in order to make the start terminal of
01:40:119 (6) - be placed on the start terminal of 01:38:355 (4).

02:18:590 (6) - Make it be placed on the start terminal of 02:17:354 (4). After that, you should move those notes which are after the note which I just pointed out.

01:20:001 - Make the break time start at here.

01:29:001 - Make the break time end at here.

02:26:707 (2) - You may press Ctrl+G in order to make it flowy.

It is also a nice map. There are just a few of problems.

[Insane]

00:23:884 (3,4,5) - Why did you not move the 3rd circle at (256,192)? Maybe you have your style. Just follow your sense. If you follow me, you will need to move the start terminal of the 4th slider at (336,208) and the 5th circle at (132,256).

00:51:060 (1,2,3) - Cool little jump 0.0 ( to x1.48 = x1.5 ) . It's cool but I don't know if it allow in Normal diff . If yes , I applaud this ~~~~ !!

00:53:178 (1,2,3) - Make a symmetry here ? It's fine now so I'm just a reference .

01:30:943 (2) - Spacing change ( prev from 0.9 to x1.01 = x1.0 ) . I thing if your object are far from previous object ( Example : 2 clap , or 8 little slot when beat snap divisor is 1/4 ) , then some spacing change are feasible ( or you want make a symmetry ) .

But here , you just want a blanket and not far enough from previous object ( 1 clap only , 4 little slot when beat snap divisor is 1/4 ) . So I prefer make it x0.9 .

Hi, mod from my queue.

First of all, I think this is a really good mapset. It was fun to play and the mapping style seems to fit the song quite well, especially in the Insane difficulty. The hitsounds seem to be consistent and also fit the music. My mod will be more focused on the patterns, so some of the suggestions might be a bit more subjective.

Insane
00:07:119 (4,5,6,7,8) - I would move these a bit downwards so that (4) doesnt overlap with (2). Looks nicer but doesn't change how it plays.

00:12:766 (2,3,4,5) - The jumps are fine here but as you have 4 jumps in a row here, I would suggest keeping the distance between THESE four a constant so it feels better to play. For example, between (1) and (2) the distance spacing is 2.0, if you use it for the rest of the notes it will also make 2 and 4 a blanket. Again, the way it plays doesn't change.

00:19:119 (1) - I'm not sure if you really need this combo as it is only 2 notes long, I would just remove NC here.

00:26:178 (2,3) - There is a very clear triplet in the drumbeat here. I would change it from

to this

It flows much better this way in my opinion. Keep the same location of the circles.

00:31:296 (1,2) - I would move (2) a bit upwards to create a blanket (even though its a bit farther away, it looks nicer, no pic here)

00:32:884 (6,1,2,3) - If you listen here, the triplet is actually where (6) is, and not (1,2,3). You could just remove (2) if you don't want to touch (6). If you do this, you'll probably want to move (1) also.

00:43:296 (2,3,4) - Not a big one, I would just move (3) a bit so it's the same distance from (2) and (4).

00:51:413 (3,4,7,8) - You are stacking (3) and (7) so why not stack also (4) and (8)? At the moment it overlaps about half of the circle.

00:53:531 (1,2,1,2,1) - Just a matter of style, but I don't think you need this many NCs here. It's all in the same sung phrase in the vocals and there's no accent or anything. The next NCs after this are fine, they make a nice "rainbow" effect.

01:10:295 (7,1,2) - Move these a bit down and left? That way (7) blankets the previous (5) and (1,2) doesn't overlap with it.

01:16:825 (1,2) - This overlap seems unnecessary.

01:30:590 (1,2) - Stack these?
01:33:060 (2,5) - ^

02:19:119 (2,4) - I see what you are looking at here, but i think the overlap is a bit awkward.

02:22:825 (3,4) - It's almost a blanket so you could as well make it one.

02:24:413 (2,3,4,5) - This pattern feels kind of weird, you could just stack it or move (4) and (5). A bit more of a personal opinion.

I think it's a really fun map. Most of the criticism would be the jumps. You have a ton of them which is fine for this kind of song, but there seems to be little logic in the spacing of the jumps. I would at least try to keep the spacing the same for series' of 3-4 consecutive jumps with regular timing because it's distracting when the jumps are all of different length.

Hard
00:10:296 (1) - This one lures you to click it in the same rhythm as the previous (4,5,6) because the spacing is the same even though the timing gap is twice as high. I would move this a bit farther.

00:14:001 (1) - Same here although this one isn't as big of a difference as the previous one. I would give it a wider gap like you have done between 0:20 and 0:30.

00:18:942 (6,1) - The pattern is again really deceptive because of the timing gap which isn't represented in the spacing of the notes.

00:40:296 (2,4) - I think this overlap feels a bit awkward.

00:56:002 (3,4) - It's a jump here but the distance seems a bit large for a map of this difficulty.

00:59:707 (2,2) - Stack the slider end with the circle?

01:43:472 (4) - It wouldn't hurt the patterns here at all to just keep the previous spacing and move this a bit farther from the previous note.

02:03:766 (3,4,1) - It feels weird to play when (3) and (1) are so close to each other even though the timing difference compared to (4) is so different. I know it's a jump here but I feel it would be better to move (1) and the following pattern maybe a bit farther left?

02:11:531 (4,5,8,1) - Stack (8) and (1) with (4) and (5)?

02:16:295 (1,2,3) - This pattern feels a bit weird. You can also just ignore this, I know it's a bit vague.

Again, most of the map feels good to play. Just a few places where it feels awkward because there is a time gap between two notes which isn't represented in the spacing.

Hoping to see this ranked! Remember that most of my suggestions are just that, not mapping errors per se.

00:56:002 (3,4) - It's a jump here but the distance seems a bit large for a map of this difficulty. Moved it closer.

00:59:707 (2,2) - Stack the slider end with the circle? I didn't really understand this one, maybe because the circles highlighted were wrong. In any case I kind of ignored this one.

01:43:472 (4) - It wouldn't hurt the patterns here at all to just keep the previous spacing and move this a bit farther from the previous note. Stacked (4) and (5).

02:03:766 (3,4,1) - It feels weird to play when (3) and (1) are so close to each other even though the timing difference compared to (4) is so different. I know it's a jump here but I feel it would be better to move (1) and the following pattern maybe a bit farther left? Fixed in the previous mod.

02:11:531 (4,5,8,1) - Stack (8) and (1) with (4) and (5)? Fixed in the previous mod.

02:16:295 (1,2,3) - This pattern feels a bit weird. You can also just ignore this, I know it's a bit vague. Split (3) into a circle and a slider, so it should feel a bit better.

Again, most of the map feels good to play. Just a few places where it feels awkward because there is a time gap between two notes which isn't represented in the spacing.

Hoping to see this ranked! Remember that most of my suggestions are just that, not mapping errors per se.
Thank you for your time and effort. Great mod!

Hi~~ From my modding Q~

  • 00:19:119 (1) - May not necessary to reduce sv
00:29:531 (4) - Replace it with a shorter slider and a note may be better
    00:40:560 - Just a suggestion,how about deleting 3 ,moving 2 to 00:40:472 and replacing 1 with a slider?
00:56:002 (1) - Well...I read the mods before, extending it is a good idea, but pay attention to the distance...4.63 may be too far,and 02:04:472 (2) - this is even 7.35......move the notes after the sliders a bit nearer.....
    01:08:531 (1,2,3,4) - too near,maybe 2:364,160 3:388,172 4:440,216
01:14:355 (1) - Seems not proper here, too much vocal undermapped
01:42:943 (4) - I think if not ignore the vocal 01:43:049 will be better...and the pattern is not beautiful...

    02:01:649 (2,1) - too far
    02:04:472 (3) - referred before
02:25:119 (5) - Highly recomand to fix,It's quite hard for a player on this level to distinguish which slider moves above and which moves down.
Sorry for my poor English

SPOILER
  1. Length is 1 second longer than your other maps.
  2. 00:18:766 (2) I think this is more suitable for the flow on Norm difficulty.
  3. 01:00:942 (2) Try this? Smoother mouse movements
  4. 01:17:178 (6) It feels more fitting for the song if you don't break up the flow out song just to blanket. THis is the end of the passage, and I think after the chorus where its twisting and turning flow-wise to resolve it in a fluid motion. Like this:
  5. 01:32:531 (2, 3) If you stretch the steepness of your stream it flows better. Like this:
  6. 01:53:884 (3, 4, 5) Stretch so DS is consistent.

[Hard]
SPOILER
  1. Consider turning your slider tick rate to two for Hard+ or Insane. It would help make the longer sliders not seem so empty.
  2. 00:11:531 (3, 1, 2) Ctrl + H for better flow. You might want to consider reversing Slider 2 if you don't like how far the jump is.
  3. 00:19:648 (1) Stack to the end of the Slider 4 at 00:18:413
  4. 00:30:060 (4, 5) Try reversing the curve like this. It flows from Slider 3 into 4, and then let's you still alternate smoothly to Slider 5.
  5. 00:35:707 (4) Blanket
  6. 00:40:913 (3) Move this out just by a tad. So the blanketing is cleaner.
  7. 02:01:648 (2, 1) If you switch the two, it builds anticipation for the song when it comes down to the middle sliders. Also flows fine. Maybe too big of a jump for Hard?

[Insane]
SPOILER

  • There isn't much to say about this. It flows nice and its purrrdy.
  1. 00:48:236 (3) I have nothing else to complain about... lol
    [img]http://puu.sh/b93Jw/ef1e4a647d.jpg
    [/img]
  2. 01:45:589 (6) Line up axis. 3 sides of a square.
  3. 01:50:884 (6) Probably blanket at the same distance as previous. Especially since all three sliders are surrounding 1 circle.

That was nice ^^ your map is soo purddy~

  2. 00:18:766 (2) I think this is more suitable for the flow on Norm difficulty. Tried to mirror this, not sure if i did ok.
  3. 01:00:942 (2) Try this? Smoother mouse movements Made into a similar fashion.
  4. 01:17:178 (6) It feels more fitting for the song if you don't break up the flow out song just to blanket. THis is the end of the passage, and I think after the chorus where its twisting and turning flow-wise to resolve it in a fluid motion. Like this: Changed!
  5. 01:32:531 (2, 3) If you stretch the steepness of your stream it flows better. Like this: Didn't really do much here, but fixed up by a few co-ordinates.
  6. 01:53:884 (3, 4, 5) Stretch so DS is consistent. Didn't really do it the day you did, I kinda changed this whole section, so everything as about the same DS.

[Hard]
SPOILER
  1. Consider turning your slider tick rate to two for Hard+ or Insane. It would help make the longer sliders not seem so empty. I prefer not to just because I like how they look without the white dots in it.
  2. 00:11:531 (3, 1, 2) Ctrl + H for better flow. You might want to consider reversing Slider 2 if you don't like how far the jump is. I changed this section up quite a bit so that it has the CTRL-H but also the sliders revolve around (3)
  3. 00:19:648 (1) Stack to the end of the Slider 4 at 00:18:413 Ctrl - C, Ctrl - V, Ctrl - G. Done.
  4. 00:30:060 (4, 5) Try reversing the curve like this. It flows from Slider 3 into 4, and then let's you still alternate smoothly to Slider 5. Yes! I also fixed it so that it sort of blankets (2)
  5. 00:35:707 (4) Blanket Fixed
  6. 00:40:913 (3) Move this out just by a tad. So the blanketing is cleaner. Done
  7. 02:01:648 (2, 1) If you switch the two, it builds anticipation for the song when it comes down to the middle sliders. Also flows fine. Maybe too big of a jump for Hard? Yea OK, it works, hopefully it's not too big.

[Insane]
SPOILER

  • There isn't much to say about this. It flows nice and its purrrdy.
  1. 00:48:236 (3) I have nothing else to complain about... lol Done
    [img]http://puu.sh/b93Jw/ef1e4a647d.jpg
    [/img]
  2. 01:45:589 (6) Line up axis. 3 sides of a square. Done
  3. 01:50:884 (6) Probably blanket at the same distance as previous. Especially since all three sliders are surrounding 1 circle. Done

That was nice ^^ your map is soo purddy~
Thank you for the mod!

Hello, mod from my queue

Normal

I think the HP Drain Rate and the Overall Difficulty can be both at 3 instead of 4, remember that it's the lowest difficulty of the map, it should be quite easy.

  1. 00:08:884 - There is an emphasized beat you missed here, I think you should add a circle here (maybe around x356|y64 ?)
  2. 00:21:237 (2,3,4) - I think it's a bit hard to play these 3 circles which are on a red tick. It's just a little suggestion, but maybe you can try this exemple of pattern : http://puu.sh/bab6V.jpg
  3. 00:32:354 (6,2) - These sliders aren't perfectly stacked, you should fix it for the esthetic of the difficulty.
  4. 00:48:766 (1) - There's only 1/2 beat of distance between the last object and the spinner, it's quite short for a Normal =/ Maybe you can try to start it at
  5. 00:48:942 because there's an emphasized beat here, so even if it won't follow the voice, it'll be justified.
  6. 00:55:119 (1) - Same problem here, I think you should follow the stream, which starts at 00:55:295, then it'll be perfect because there will be 1/1 beat instead of 1/2 beat, it'll be easier for beginners.
  7. 00:57:413 (1,2) - I think you can change a little bit (2)'s shape to make a perfect blanket with (1) for it looks prettier. You can be helped by the sliderball's overyaly, like in this picture : http://puu.sh/babA2.jpg
  8. 01:02:707 (1,2) - There is an overlap here, it looks quite ugly... I think you can try this exemple of pattern to make it prettier :
  9. 01:47:884 (1,2) - This pattern can be hard for beginners, they won't know when they have to hit the slider. I suggest to destack these sliders, this should be more readable.
  10. 01:51:590 (1) - Same as above about the distance between the spinner and the previous object, but there is no emphasized beat 1/2 beat after the start of the slider. Then I think the better this to do is to use a circle instead of 01:51:060 (6).
  11. 01:56:531 (1) - Instead of the last suggestion, there is an emphasized beat at 01:56:707, so the spinner should start here I think.
  12. 02:05:002 (1) - I think it's a bad idea to start here with a circle on a red tick. I suggest to delete it, like you made for the first kiai time.
  13. 02:15:413 (3,1) - The distance snap here can be tricky here, I thought I had to hit at 02:16:119. I think you should start here at 02:16:472, because starting on a red tick is hard.
  14. 02:22:472 (2,4) - Maybe you can stack these 2 objects ? It'll increase the diff's esthetic.
  15. 02:25:295 (6) - Maybe you can use a 1/2 slider here instead of the circle, because there is an emphasized beat at 02:25:472.

Hard

  1. 00:28:825 (1,3,5) - Try to stack them properly, it'll be prettier \:D/
  2. 00:42:237 (6,7) - The jump between these 2 objects is a problem, it'll make people fail and raging and after they will break their computer :c Maybe you can use CTRL+G for 00:42:237 (6) ?
  3. 00:49:119 (4) - I don't know if it's a good idea to stack here, it's gonna be hard for HD playes, I suggest to stack it with 00:49:296 (5).
  4. 00:56:002 (3,4) - The distance between these 2 objects in the timeline is a bit short, it's gonna be hard to guess when it ends, because of the slider velocity multiplier, so I suggest to make it ends at 00:56:531.
  5. 00:59:707 (2,4) - These 2 object aren't stacked properly, try to fix it for the esthetic of the diff.
  6. 01:44:002 (1,2) - Just a little suggestion, but why don't you make the same pattern as 01:38:355 (7,8) ?
  7. 01:51:060 (7,8) - I suggest to destack here, because it's hard with HD. Maybe you can move it around something like x176|y364 ?
  8. 01:55:472 (1) - Just a little suggestion about the flow here, but maybe you can reverse the slider ? Here is an exemple : http://puu.sh/baeJq.jpg
  9. 02:01:296 (1,2,1,2) - Ouch... I think these jumps are too hard for this diff, even for the Insane it'll be hard imo =/
  10. 02:03:766 (2,3) - Same as above, the distance in the timeline is too short between these 2 objects. Try to end the slider at 02:04:295.
I don't know what to say... This diff is perfect, I love it \:D/

Insane

I think the Overall Difficulty is a bit high, because decrease it a little bit, 7 seems fine imo.

  1. 00:20:355 (3,6) - Just a suggestion, but maybe you can try to stack these slider's tail ?
  2. 00:38:531 (6,7) - This jump looks a bit random, I think you should continue 00:38:531 (6)'s shape's movement by moving (7) around x96|y36
  3. 00:41:001 (3,4,5) - The distance between these 3 objects is quite the same, so maybe you should try to change this, maybe by moving (4) around x260|y248
  4. 01:04:472 (6,8) - Maybe you can try to blanket (8) with (6) ?
  5. 01:33:413 (4,6) - Try to stack them properly please
  6. 01:46:913 (2,4) - These 2 circles aren't needed, there's no emphasized beats on these blue ticks so it's overmapped, and you should delete them.
  7. 02:08:002 (2,3) - The (3) is hidden by (2)'s revese, to you should change it, it'll be better to play
  8. 02:25:472 (6) - This slider seems a bit out of this pattern 02:24:413 (2,3,4,5), so I suggest to try this pattern : http://puu.sh/bafHH.jpg

Sweet mapset ~

Good luck for rank \:D/

Kinda late, sorry!
Hi there, coming from your request in our Modding Queue. Be so kind to take some minutes (or seconds, lets be honest) to answer to my mods. Dont be a dick and just "lol didnt changed stuffs hurr durr" without an explanation. If I told you something that was against your map, tell me why. This way mapper and modder both gain something.
Please take note that I mod your map for mostly unrankable or "stupid" stuff. I try to avoid style related issues, as I cant really judge these. Why is that?

Unrankable
Suggestion

Other than that, colours yellow to red indicate how important changes would be in my opinion

[General]
The set itself (all diffs) have some more or less big rhythm problems in them. Many possible (and/or strong beats) are unmapped or mapped by a unfitting long slider. I'll point out the main problems in the Normal mod and suggest that you carry the general idea over to the other diffs.

[Normal]
Many (quite the number) NCs seemed off so I took the time to unNC all and NC them again.

00:09:060 (1) - 00:11:531 (1) - 00:14:707 (1) - 00:17:531 (1) - 00:20:354 (1) - 00:22:825 (1) - 00:25:648 (1) - 00:28:472 (1) - 00:31:296 (1) - 00:34:119 (1) - 00:36:942 (1) - 00:39:766 (1) - 00:42:589 (1) - 00:47:884 (1) - 00:53:531 (1) - 00:59:531 (1) - 01:02:354 (1) - 01:05:178 (1) - 01:08:354 (1) - 01:11:178 (1) - 01:13:649 (1) - 01:16:472 (1) - 01:33:413 (1) - 01:36:237 (1) - 01:39:060 (1) - 01:42:236 (1) - 01:44:707 (1) - 01:47:531 (1) - 01:50:355 (1) - 01:55:648 (1) - 02:01:648 (1) - 02:07:295 (1) - 02:10:472 (1) - 02:12:942 (1) - 02:16:295 (1) - 02:18:590 (1) - 02:21:766 (1) - 02:24:236 (1) -

General rule of thumb when it comes to NCing: NCs should be on the downbeat (big white tick most of the time) or on a significant change in music/pitch. metronome changes can also be NCd.
Please note that all of these NCs I just recommended are before modding. If I happen to point out to change something where the downbeat is on a slider end and the object after this was NC'd, then please move the NC to the changed object that's on the downbeat.

About the beginning: You've mapped the same beat in multiple different ways. That itself is not bad, but it's also that the consistency takes a few hits from that as well. I'd recommend that you maybe revisit some of the patterns that you mapped (from 00:05:884 (1) - to 00:22:825 (1) - ) and think about changing some so that there might be 2 of that kind and 2 of the other kind. That wouldnt be as confusing as it is right now. (Since this is the easiest diff, new players will play this first and same beat should mean same klicks, right?)

Here are 2 example rhythms you could use:

As an example why your rhythms could need some improvement: 00:12:236 (2) -
This 2/1 slider has multiple unmapped beats/hits, 00:12:413 - and 00:12:766 - The slider would indicate that this is just a long sound with no beats on it, which it isnt.

00:10:648 (4) - has an unmapped beat on 00:10:825 -
(same with 00:17:884 (2) - ) etc.

00:20:354 (1) - has unmapped beats on 00:20:707 - and 00:21:060 - . Something like this would work for example

■ 00:17:178 (1) - remove the repeat and start a new Slider here, like you did in other cases on the same music before like 00:11:531 (1) - . Nc as well
■ 00:18:766 (3) - remove and replace with a 1/2 repeatable and place a 1/1 slider behind that

and all of this continues further on. For the sake of not pointing out the same things again, I'll leave that open and up to you.

■ 00:27:413 (4) - Iam rather unsure about this. The actual hit is 1/4 earlier on the blue tick (dont ever map a blue tick in normals, I just wanted to point that out)
To fix this, you could do that (3 is 00:26:707 (3) - )

■ 00:43:649 (1) - I dont actually think that a spinner fits here. Try this (and move NC to 00:45:413 (2) - ):

■ 00:53:531 (1) - There is a downbeat (a heavy beat) on the repeat, which doesnt add to the intensity of the beat at all. Make it clickable! 00:53:531 (4) - circle 00:53:884 (1) - slider (NC)
■ 00:55:295 (3) - This spinner doesnt fit here either. Try this (this is with the change from ^)

Please also remove the SV slowdown on 00:56:001 (4) - , that shouldnt be there in Normals

■ 01:06:766 (3) - This plays better imo because the slider on (3) would support the long "A" vocal and the circles afterwards support the following vocals better as opposed to a slider

■ 01:09:766 (5) -

■ 01:17:178 (2) - fill the gap! You can still hear strong beats in the part where you delayed the break.

■ 01:41:002 (3) -respace this one to 1.0 DS like you usually did I didnt see that the base DS is 0,9, so respace the slider after that. I will leave this tip here though:

(The thing with this is that it's on a red tick that new players cant smell out of nowhere. Spacing usually helps to see how "far away" an object is timewise - and if an object is closer than it should be (position wise), but farther away than the rest of the mapped objects (time wise), players might get confused and combobreak because they panic.)

■ 02:16:119 (1) - Move this one to the white tick so that there's no awkward gap between (4) and (1). This will also help the player holding the rhythm of the song.
On a side note: Never try to map vocal only. You play to the beat of the song, not to the vocals.
You also did it correct here 02:18:590 (1) -

I'll leave it at that, the same rhythm problems occur later on as well, so Iam not gonna point these out as well, as the song's pretty much on repeat after the second kiai. I'd highly recommend that you look over all of these atleast once. (The rhythm in the kiai looked better than outside of it)

[Hard]
■ Basically the same as in Normal. There are some unmapped beats that should be mapped, some sliders are longer than they should be, some strong beats are on sliderends (which is a weak beat) and some sliders should be replaced by circle. I'll go ahead and give some examples for rhythms, but I'll leave it at that. Try to take some notes from the stuff I posted in your Normal diff and try to apply them in here as well (but a bit harder ofc)

00:17:178 (1) -

00:28:825 (1) -

■ The kiai here is, compared to the rest, really good! Thats how it should be.
■ 01:10:825 (2) - replace (2 and 3) with a 1/1 slider
■ 01:13:472 (2) -

■ 01:18:413 (1) - You dont need to NC these here, as they follow a "normal" path (I really like this as well!)

& repeat for second half of the song

[Insane]
■ Same as aboves, but the general map looks better as the others do in terms of rhythm. You get the drill :>

■ 00:56:707 (2) - You shouldnt leave so many beats unmapped after that, this seems boring. The song is already strong after this beat, so insert some more circles or sliders to fill the empty gap!

So, uhm, yea. The song itself is really enjoyable and I'd actually want to offer to map a GD Insane if you're interested in it (that'd take some time though since I still have some requests open). Feel free to pm me ingame if you want me to.

I hope the rhythm suggestions are clear and make sense to you, so that you have an easy time implementing them :3 I didnt really mod the patterns in Hard/Insane because these were to change anyway if you change the general rhythm in these. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me ingame

Normal

I think the HP Drain Rate and the Overall Difficulty can be both at 3 instead of 4, remember that it's the lowest difficulty of the map, it should be quite easy. Yes I agree. It should be much easier, as you can probably tell, easy-normal is not my forte.

  1. 00:08:884 - There is an emphasized beat you missed here, I think you should add a circle here (maybe around x356|y64 ?) Yea
  2. 00:21:237 (2,3,4) - I think it's a bit hard to play these 3 circles which are on a red tick. It's just a little suggestion, but maybe you can try this exemple of pattern : http://puu.sh/bab6V.jpg Yea sure I like this, I also changed a slider that came before to a 1/2 slider.
  3. 00:32:354 (6,2) - These sliders aren't perfectly stacked, you should fix it for the esthetic of the difficulty. Fixed
  4. 00:48:766 (1) - There's only 1/2 beat of distance between the last object and the spinner, it's quite short for a Normal =/ Maybe you can try to start it at
  5. 00:48:942 because there's an emphasized beat here, so even if it won't follow the voice, it'll be justified. If it'll make it easier than yea Ill fix it.
  6. 00:55:119 (1) - Same problem here, I think you should follow the stream, which starts at 00:55:295, then it'll be perfect because there will be 1/1 beat instead of 1/2 beat, it'll be easier for beginners. ^
  7. 00:57:413 (1,2) - I think you can change a little bit (2)'s shape to make a perfect blanket with (1) for it looks prettier. You can be helped by the sliderball's overyaly, like in this picture : http://puu.sh/babA2.jpg I tried to fix this again though not really like the picture, hopefully it's a bit better now.
  8. 01:02:707 (1,2) - There is an overlap here, it looks quite ugly... I think you can try this exemple of pattern to make it prettier : Yes fixed, but (3) slider I ctrl-g so it flows to the next note.
  9. 01:47:884 (1,2) - This pattern can be hard for beginners, they won't know when they have to hit the slider. I suggest to destack these sliders, this should be more readable. Destacked
  10. 01:51:590 (1) - Same as above about the distance between the spinner and the previous object, but there is no emphasized beat 1/2 beat after the start of the slider. Then I think the better this to do is to use a circle instead of 01:51:060 (6). Did I do it right?
  11. 01:56:531 (1) - Instead of the last suggestion, there is an emphasized beat at 01:56:707, so the spinner should start here I think. ^
  12. 02:05:002 (1) - I think it's a bad idea to start here with a circle on a red tick. I suggest to delete it, like you made for the first kiai time. Deleted
  13. 02:15:413 (3,1) - The distance snap here can be tricky here, I thought I had to hit at 02:16:119. I think you should start here at 02:16:472, because starting on a red tick is hard. Did I do it right again? I removed the first note and DS the notes the come after.
  14. 02:22:472 (2,4) - Maybe you can stack these 2 objects ? It'll increase the diff's esthetic. Stacked
  15. 02:25:295 (6) - Maybe you can use a 1/2 slider here instead of the circle, because there is an emphasized beat at 02:25:472. Yes I agree.

Hard

  1. 00:28:825 (1,3,5) - Try to stack them properly, it'll be prettier \:D/ Made them Pretty :D
  2. 00:42:237 (6,7) - The jump between these 2 objects is a problem, it'll make people fail and raging and after they will break their computer :c Maybe you can use CTRL+G for 00:42:237 (6) ? Someone suggested me to do this, but now that you put it that way... I guess ill keep the jumps to a minimum.
  3. 00:49:119 (4) - I don't know if it's a good idea to stack here, it's gonna be hard for HD playes, I suggest to stack it with 00:49:296 (5). I should start playing my map with all the different mods so I can start noticing these things. Stacked
  4. 00:56:002 (3,4) - The distance between these 2 objects in the timeline is a bit short, it's gonna be hard to guess when it ends, because of the slider velocity multiplier, so I suggest to make it ends at 00:56:531. This is what I had it at originally before I extended it to 00:56:619 .As of right now I'm going to keep it the way it is so that both hard and insane are the same in a sense.
  5. 00:59:707 (2,4) - These 2 object aren't stacked properly, try to fix it for the esthetic of the diff. Stacked
  6. 01:44:002 (1,2) - Just a little suggestion, but why don't you make the same pattern as 01:38:355 (7,8) ? Yup
  7. 01:51:060 (7,8) - I suggest to destack here, because it's hard with HD. Maybe you can move it around something like x176|y364 ? Destacked, but placed elsewhere.
  8. 01:55:472 (1) - Just a little suggestion about the flow here, but maybe you can reverse the slider ? Here is an exemple : http://puu.sh/baeJq.jpg I was thinking this too because it felt weird as I was playing this. Yea I was thinking this too.
  9. 02:01:296 (1,2,1,2) - Ouch... I think these jumps are too hard for this diff, even for the Insane it'll be hard imo =/ Alright I changed it up a bit so now the top 2 are jumps but not as big.
  10. 02:03:766 (2,3) - Same as above, the distance in the timeline is too short between these 2 objects. Try to end the slider at 02:04:295. ^
I don't know what to say... This diff is perfect, I love it \:D/

Insane

I think the Overall Difficulty is a bit high, because decrease it a little bit, 7 seems fine imo. I kind of want to do 7.5, but I hate decimal values so I'll go with 7.

  1. 00:20:355 (3,6) - Just a suggestion, but maybe you can try to stack these slider's tail ? Alright, this will also create a jump with (4) & (5)
  2. 00:38:531 (6,7) - This jump looks a bit random, I think you should continue 00:38:531 (6)'s shape's movement by moving (7) around x96|y36 Yea this note hasn't moved since I first placed it there. So I guess you could say it's a bit random.
  3. 00:41:001 (3,4,5) - The distance between these 3 objects is quite the same, so maybe you should try to change this, maybe by moving (4) around x260|y248 Fixed
  4. 01:04:472 (6,8) - Maybe you can try to blanket (8) with (6) ? Blanketed
  5. 01:33:413 (4,6) - Try to stack them properly please stacked
  6. 01:46:913 (2,4) - These 2 circles aren't needed, there's no emphasized beats on these blue ticks so it's overmapped, and you should delete them. Deleted
  7. 02:08:002 (2,3) - The (3) is hidden by (2)'s revese, to you should change it, it'll be better to play Yea OK placed it elsewhere
  8. 02:25:472 (6) - This slider seems a bit out of this pattern 02:24:413 (2,3,4,5), so I suggest to try this pattern : http://puu.sh/bafHH.jpg Did I do it right? I think so

Sweet mapset ~

Many (quite the number) NCs seemed off so I took the time to unNC all and NC them again. Thank you for taking the time to do this, ill have to look over these NCs. I also feel like my understanding of hit sounding has been improved, thanks to you're awesome explanation.

(Since this is the easiest diff, new players will play this first and same beat should mean same klicks, right?) I've gone back and remapped the entire section you have pointed out you the first of the two example rhythms you have given me.

Here are 2 example rhythms you could use:

Used this one.

As an example why your rhythms could need some improvement: 00:12:236 (2) -
This 2/1 slider has multiple unmapped beats/hits, 00:12:413 - and 00:12:766 - The slider would indicate that this is just a long sound with no beats on it, which it isnt. Yes, I do agree my rhythm's do need a ton of improvement especially in my normal difficulty. I have fixed this by using the pattern in the first picture shown above and hopefully the placement (I did remap this) is alright.

00:10:648 (4) - has an unmapped beat on 00:10:825 -
(same with 00:17:884 (2) - ) etc. ^

00:20:354 (1) - has unmapped beats on 00:20:707 - and 00:21:060 - . Something like this would work for example Wow, never really noticed this, I assumed this and the last part were both the same so I kind of made it the same. Guess I'm not listening hard enough.

■ 00:17:178 (1) - remove the repeat and start a new Slider here, like you did in other cases on the same music before like 00:11:531 (1) - . Nc as well
■ 00:18:766 (3) - remove and replace with a 1/2 repeatable and place a 1/1 slider behind that Well... uh stuff happened and I used the pattern above to do this part as well, before I checked out this mod. Hopefully it'll be OK for you and for everyone else.

and all of this continues further on. For the sake of not pointing out the same things again, I'll leave that open and up to you.

■ 00:27:413 (4) - Iam rather unsure about this. The actual hit is 1/4 earlier on the blue tick (dont ever map a blue tick in normals, I just wanted to point that out)
To fix this, you could do that (3 is 00:26:707 (3) - ) Used this pattern

■ 00:43:649 (1) - I dont actually think that a spinner fits here. Try this (and move NC to 00:45:413 (2) - ): Done

■ 00:53:531 (1) - There is a downbeat (a heavy beat) on the repeat, which doesnt add to the intensity of the beat at all. Make it clickable! 00:53:531 (4) - circle 00:53:884 (1) - slider (NC) It is now clickable!
■ 00:55:295 (3) - This spinner doesnt fit here either. Try this (this is with the change from ^)

Please also remove the SV slowdown on 00:56:001 (4) - , that shouldnt be there in Normals I went from Insane > Hard > Normal so that's why the SV change is in there. Guess I never took it out.

■ 01:06:766 (3) - This plays better imo because the slider on (3) would support the long "A" vocal and the circles afterwards support the following vocals better as opposed to a slider Alright, I like the feel of this.

■ 01:09:766 (5) - I got a little confused at first because of the different combo numbers but I got it (hopefully)

■ 01:17:178 (2) - fill the gap! You can still hear strong beats in the part where you delayed the break. I was a little reluctant to fill this in in the first place so I kind of just delayed the break.

■ 01:41:002 (3) -respace this one to 1.0 DS like you usually did I didnt see that the base DS is 0,9, so respace the slider after that. I will leave this tip here though: Respaced.

(The thing with this is that it's on a red tick that new players cant smell out of nowhere. Spacing usually helps to see how "far away" an object is timewise - and if an object is closer than it should be (position wise), but farther away than the rest of the mapped objects (time wise), players might get confused and combobreak because they panic.) Alright, ill keep this in mind. Thanks for the tip.

■ 02:16:119 (1) - Move this one to the white tick so that there's no awkward gap between (4) and (1). This will also help the player holding the rhythm of the song. I changed this up a bit, I moved them to the white tick as you said and placed an extra note on the white tick in between.

00:17:178 (1) - Done.

00:28:825 (1) - Notes placed elsewhere and Done.

■ The kiai here is, compared to the rest, really good! Thats how it should be.
■ 01:10:825 (2) - replace (2 and 3) with a 1/1 slider Done!
■ 01:13:472 (2) - Done!

■ 01:18:413 (1) - You dont need to NC these here, as they follow a "normal" path (I really like this as well!) Double Checked, I have no NC on these notes. Thank you for liking these XD

& repeat for second half of the song

[Insane]
■ Same as aboves, but the general map looks better as the others do in terms of rhythm. You get the drill :>

■ 00:56:707 (2) - You shouldnt leave so many beats unmapped after that, this seems boring. The song is already strong after this beat, so insert some more circles or sliders to fill the empty gap!Alright I've put in a 1/2 slider to fill the empty gap. Same with the other unmapped part.

Gl!

00:56:002 (1,2) - end point for (1) was placed on wrong time (on blue tick), making (2) confusing to hit. end point of (1) should be at 00:56:531

Normal

Constant spacing for Normal, don't change some specifically

00:39:060 (4,1) - if you ctrl-g 00:39:060 (4) you will realise they aren't stacked perfectly
00:43:825 (6) - whistle on end of slider
00:45:413 (2) - start of slider deserves more impact, use finish hitsound
01:02:707 (1,2) - this breaks constant distance spacing; error
01:07:648 (3) - finish on end of slider
01:16:472 (5,1) - breaks constant distance spacing too; error
01:19:294 (5) - soft finish
01:30:590 (1) - lower the volume for this circle and put a finish
01:44:354 (5,6,7) - confusing rhythm, doesn't really fit. Shift 01:44:531 (6) to start at 01:44:707
01:47:531 (3) - finish
01:52:825 (1) - finish on end of slider
01:58:825 (1,2) - spacing error, too wide
02:15:413 (3) - finish on end of slider
02:19:119 (1) - start slider at 02:19:295 - current rhythm doesn't fit the song
02:19:825 (2,3) - spacing error, 02:20:707 (3) should be further away. 02:19:825 (2,1) can then stack on each other
02:21:766 (1,3) - please then fix this stack, it's off
02:23:884 (4,5) - because these 2 don't stack on 02:22:472 (2) it looks messy

Hard

00:11:531 (3) - finish on start of slider
00:31:296 (1,2) - I don't think stacking suits this part
00:33:766 (3) - finish on end of slider
00:49:296 (5,6,7) - doesn't fit the song. Shift 00:49:296 (5) to start at 00:49:472 where there is a beat and move 00:49:825 (6) to 00:49:295 and also change 00:50:002 (7) to a 1/2 beat repeat slider because 00:50:178 is important
00:56:002 (3) - NC to define the sv change
01:08:001 (3) - finish on start of slider
01:08:001 (3,1) - not really good flow, you can't really move from 01:08:001 (3) to 01:08:531 (1)
01:18:942 (2) - soft hitsound finish on end of slider
01:30:590 (1) - finish
01:50:707 (5,6,7) - have a better blanket
01:53:178 (3) - finish on start of slider
01:57:060 (4) - out of rhythm, crucial beat at 01:57:236 overlooked
02:03:060 (1,2) - not stacked perfectly
02:05:002 (1,5) - don't overlap
02:08:531 (3,4,6) - unless these are spaced evenly, they look messy
02:15:766 (3) - finish or at least a soft whistle
02:21:942 (1) - overlooks the crucial beat at 02:22:119 as well

Insane

00:11:531 (4) - finish on start of slider, furthermore this should be a new combo, as it's a new phrase
00:35:178 (3) - doesn't fit the song, it overlooks the important beat at 00:35:354
00:45:413 (2) - finish on start of slider
00:56:002 (1,2) - inappropriate jump, doesn't blend with the music and is too extreme. This part doesn't feel like it needs any jump at all, make it between 1.1~1.5x at most from the slider. Have a finish on 00:56:707 (2)
01:57:060 (6) - doesn't fit the song, overlooks the beat at 01:57:236
01:57:942 and 01:58:031 - these parts feel empty, add objects to lead up to 01:58:119 (1) or it feels held back
02:03:766 (1,2) - same issue as 00:56:002 (1,2) it's too far away, and 02:04:472 (2) needs the finish hitsound to be louder and clearer and cymbals also fits here, it's too silent now
02:14:002 (3,4) - too close and it's too sudden of a change from the pattern of 02:12:942 (1,2,3) - you should reposition 02:14:531 (4,1) to suit the whole thing
02:21:942 (1) - overlooks the beat at 02:22:119

The spacing needs to be looked upon again, Good Luck.

02:21:766 (1,3) - please then fix this stack, it's off fixed
02:23:884 (4,5) - because these 2 don't stack on 02:22:472 (2) it looks messy placed elsewhere

Weird, the spacing errors don't show up in AiMod. They are fixed though don't worry.

Hard

00:11:531 (3) - finish on start of slider added
00:31:296 (1,2) - I don't think stacking suits this part unstacked
00:33:766 (3) - finish on end of slider added
00:49:296 (5,6,7) - doesn't fit the song. Shift 00:49:296 (5) to start at 00:49:472 where there is a beat and move 00:49:825 (6) to 00:49:295 and also change 00:50:002 (7) to a 1/2 beat repeat slider because 00:50:178 is important Changed, not feeling the repeat slider though, left as 1/2 beat slider.
00:56:002 (3) - NC to define the sv change added
01:08:001 (3) - finish on start of slider added
01:08:001 (3,1) - not really good flow, you can't really move from 01:08:001 (3) to 01:08:531 (1) fixed
01:18:942 (2) - soft hitsound finish on end of slider added

01:50:707 (5,6,7) - have a better blanket tried to make it better
01:53:178 (3) - finish on start of slider added
01:57:060 (4) - out of rhythm, crucial beat at 01:57:236 overlooked fixed, made it into a 1/2 beat slider and a note
02:03:060 (1,2) - not stacked perfectly fixed
02:05:002 (1,5) - don't overlap fixed
02:08:531 (3,4,6) - unless these are spaced evenly, they look messy fixed-ish

02:15:766 (3) - finish or at least a soft whistle added a finish
02:21:942 (1) - overlooks the crucial beat at 02:22:119 as well fixed

Insane

AiMod doesn't show spacing errors like this, furthermore if they help you detect spacing issues, it will deem all jumps as errors, so it's not really reliable in this aspect. You have to use perception and checking manually for this haha. Once again, good luck on your mapset
