Just started playing osu last week.
I use 6/11 and 1.2x speed with mouse precision stuff turned off
but my movement is very imprecise, especially when doing squares and sliders.
When I do squares I will mess them up and miss. I tried to think them as a group of jumps but I just can't move my mouse like that at all.
in short, I can't move my mouse like I wanted.

How do you guys handle/move your mouse?
Can you guys give me beatmaps that will help me improving on squares?

I've been trying to play Team Nekokan - Can't Defeat Airman[Hard]. no matter how hard I try I can't defeat those squares :(

My English sucks.

Play more and you will see improvement if you are patient.

Thanks for the maps! but those look really scary o-o

Just play the game and don't worry about it.
It's infuriating when you can read a map easily but can't play it, but just like anything else, you'll get the muscle memory eventually.

I know that I'm going to fuck up horribly at certain point. I prepare for it and still proceed to fail.
I'm going to defeat airman and get that sweet S grade! l0l

if everyone could play and move their tablet/mouse how they wanted to, everyone would be extremely pro

If everyone is pro... no one is pro. If everyone has skill, no one has skill. That's what skill is, doing something better than other people, setting them apart from the rest. New maps to offer even greater challenges would result, setting a new standard for skill. Which, if you think about it, is exactly how it is now. Don't get hung up on aiming like the best when they've been playing for so much longer.

Squares were invented by the devil himself. There is no shortcut other than practicing moving your mouse really fast to each note, stopping, then going to the next, which is known as "snapping."

What if improving means fun?
Aurani
I have yet to meet someone who is extremely good but didn't give a single damn about getting to that point.

Improving does equal fun. Without the fun factor no one would be playing the game. It's the adrenaline rush you get from completing something you couldn't do a day or two before that keeps you tied to the game itself.

OP: Just play more... a lot more... 700 is literally nothing compared to how much you have to play in order to get good. If you aren't able to control the mouse, it means that your muscles have yet to adapt to that particular pattern or speed in order for you to be precise and feel comfortable about playing that song.

^ Play more. Maybe in a months time you'll get the hang of it. Just have fun with it as well, as in, don't play maps that will frustrate you.

Legend goes disabling "Enhance Pointer Precision" helps some. I wouldn't know, I've always had mine turned off and I suck.

Improving does not compute. ERROR ERROR!!! Self destruct in 3...2...1...

But seriously play more. There are tips people can give you. People seem to give the usual "play more" as advice to new players. Some actually give their expieriences on matters. Im sure you can take those and form your own tip and see improvement in your own way.
GoldenWolf
At the point OP is, all they can do is to play more
Since they already have decent mouse settings we can't say much about that either
There is nothing more to say at their level, they have to get used to the game first, before actually giving advices

Oh fun, practice maps!! Thanks! ^.^

Also, play more. I still suck at controlling my mouse with much more practice.

Squares.. I keep hearing about them but I can't say I can remember seeing any or having any trouble with any in any beatmaps, and I've been playing for a while. Anyone post a map with some?

Well probably try turning on Raw input,

I've learned from personal experience, and also try to play with the lowest sensitivity you can, you need to move your arms more and less of your wrist.
leepdesu
Alright, how do you control your mouse more precise?
1. turn off mouse acceleration
2. you mention that you currently can't control your mouse, try reducing the sensitivity abit
3. get used to it until you think you could do better if you mouse were to be faster (then increase the sensitivity)
4. remember that when you change the sensitivity, you have to get used to it before increasing it again

Just my personal experience. Used mouse till #18k and changed to telekinesis tablet. I, from time to time, use the mouse and I play with full screen with 2000dpi.
