I think I cannot change anything about the star rating anymore since the last ending/spike is the only one that makes the gap further and.. each difficulty ending are totally fine to the o!m players.

Also according to the rule of difficulty rating at https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Ranking_Criteria:
Below 1.5: Easy
Below 2.25: Normal
Below 3.75: Hard
Below 5.25: Insane
Above 5.25: Expert

I believe this is not for mania specific but still allowed to have such gap as long as there is a NM/EZ difficulty.
(with this, I hope https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Osu!mania_Ranking_Criteria updates about star rating stuffs.)

Difficulties:
NM - 4Key (1.82 stars, 693 notes) which is Below 2.25: Normal
HD - 4Key (3.59 stars, 1175 notes) which is Below 3.75: Hard
MX - 4Key (4.84 stars, 1964 notes) which is Below 5.25: Insane AND this can be considered as the "another Insane level" since between hard and 5+ difficulty.
SHD - 4Key (5.13 stars, 2142 notes) Insane level
ExTra - 4Key (6.77 stars, 2500 notes) Naming rule, hardest difficulty

As we can see, still followed the amended rule (following what is stated under MAP given to your link) and I believe its a reasonable gap because the last part of each difficulty just made the gap big. Without the last part, all diff's star rating would be close to each other (Fullerene-'s opinion). And sometimes, star rating can be stupid. (z3nx opinion) Put quad jacks in a certain part of a song and boom instant high star rating.

^ sometimes you dont need to follow the instrument, this will make the chart easier, i think you wont like it but amount star of this diff will be around 4.66

so the gap on each diff will be

6.77 - 5.40 = 1.37
5.40 - 4.66 = 0.8
4.66 - 3.59 = 1.07
3.59 - 1.82 = 1.77

which is nearly to 1.0, very smooth unless NM to HD which is more than 1.5 but i think it's should be fine, this is 4K, it's easier to learn than 7K
My Opinion about difficulty

NM : good diff for newbie, advanced player can SS
HD : warmup diff, best place for 1/4 stream
MX : best diff to introduce 1/8 stream
SHD : best diff to use 1/8 st more also best way to introduce a 1/8 double
ExTra : best diff to kill yourself
i think that's all i can do,remember this is not nazi mod, you can always ignore all of it if you think it will ruin your Pattern/Beatmap
but you can rethink about that

My Opinion about difficulty

Optionally you could nerf NM to around 1,5 star, change name to EZ and add NM with ~2,5 stars. This would assure a better spread.

I can do that if, they are going to allow a 2.5 star NM because it is usually 2.0 below.
And if that also happens? then other mappers in the future will do 2.5 star rating NMs in 4K maps. (And as I know its 2.25 before it becomes a "H" icon)

I believe that the star rating gap here is so reasonable. I do not even get complains about the playability of NM, HD and MX and get positive feedback instead.
Waiting for the QATs and other BATs respond/action.

Hi, not gonna mod or anything

but the diff difference between 3.22 and 4.77 star difficulty is too high. in my skill, I can easily S the 3.22 (can FC if I try) but I instantly die on 4.77 after 30 seconds. drains stamina too quickly for my case. Please add a difficulty somwhere between 3.8 - 4.2 star. this is where I usually get As or Bs.

(I'm overweight if that could help)

Artist should be jea. Discogs has said that M.A.M.A. is by Jea. There are people on FFR who have the album that can confirm that this is the case as they own the album physically. High Speed Music Team Sharpnel is the collective of Jea, La-Quebrata, Lemmy, MC-JunQ and Quebradora - which is why the album's artist is High Speed Music Team Sharpnel.

Overall decent, though maybe you can change some parts to have a noticeable difficulty discrepancy from ExTra.
00:23:204 - haha this is cruel. Would personally use [12][34] instead here, but this is very much a personal choice.
00:24:575 - Rather rushable stream pattern. Maybe use something like this instead? Change the jumpstream after it to this as well, if you're changing the stream.
00:42:747 - The LNs have a layering scheme of either ascending or descending triplets, you should probably follow it for the entire section for consistency. This doesn't apply to this LN section alone. 00:43:432 - , 00:45:490 - , you get the idea.
00:57:490 - 00:58:861 - You could probably follow the same LN scheme as you did from the part before it.
01:07:775 - Same issue as 42.747, since the LN layering scheme is minitrills, you should probably stick with it.
01:42:061 - Pretty spiky compared to the rest of the map, perhaps consider changing it to [134][34][21][34][134]? 01:42:575 - could be [14][23][123].
02:10:175 - Perhaps change this to a [14][23] jumptrill instead, so you can change 02:11:547 - to [43][21] for better transitioning into the stream.

You get the idea, there are several places where you can do this. Try to avoid jacks where the column of the 3 note jack is the same as the LN right after the jack if the column is outwards (1 or 4). For example, avoid something like [12][12][13]. You CAN add jacks like those if the second chord is the same as the third chord. The main reason for this is that most players would have more issues hitting a jack that changes chords outwards ([13][12]) rather than inwards ([12][13]). The player would probably let go of the 1 for a second and will drop the LN.
02:10:261 - You can change probably change this entire section into a jumpglut section, like this. You'll notice that in the pic there is a hidden minijack, then no minijack, then a minijack, and repeat. Those are the easiest jumpgluts you can have. Just make sure the last note in this section is a [134].
02:12:918 - You already know what I think of this... I really really don't like this section because of how much it inflates SR. I know you're pretty adamant about changing this section, but if you want to change it - change this to a 1/8 jumpstream with jumps layered to the synth. Patterns don't really matter at this point, just try to avoid 4+ note hidden 1/4 jacks if you do so.

From what I have done in my difficulties, this suggestion should be on MX since I made the MX to only have 1/8 stream alone (without any 2-noters/jumps). Either way, I rearranged the pattern again and now I'm pretty sure it is much easier to read/hit >w<)b

For example, avoid something like [12][12][13]. You CAN add jacks like those if the second chord is the same as the third chord. The main reason for this is that most players would have more issues hitting a jack that changes chords outwards ([13][12]) rather than inwards ([12][13]). The player would probably let go of the 1 for a second and will drop the LN.I rearranged the notes instead in these parts.


02:10:261 - You can change probably change this entire section into a jumpglut section, like this. You'll notice that in the pic there is a hidden minijack, then no minijack, then a minijack, and repeat. Those are the easiest jumpgluts you can have. Just make sure the last note in this section is a [134]. I decided to rearrange the part to [1,2][3,4] jumptrills only.

02:12:918 - You already know what I think of this... I really really don't like this section because of how much it inflates SR. I know you're pretty adamant about changing this section, but if you want to change it - change this to a 1/8 jumpstream with jumps layered to the synth. Patterns don't really matter at this point, just try to avoid 4+ note hidden 1/4 jacks if you do so. Sorry but I'll keep it since the patterns in this very last part is fc'ble and clearer (jumps on beat+hithat, beat+bgsynth, beat+clap, etc). This is the nerfed version of the jumptrill I made back then (which I am sad that the jumptrill is not acceptable. and this time, I'm confident about it.
