  • [Kantan]
  1. 00:21:764 (34) - consider adding finish here ? As the sound is stressed, it needs more emphasis imo.
  2. 00:36:430 (59) - same as ^
  3. 00:57:430 (28,29) - swap these notes to k d ? This could follow the vocal pitch better.

Although there is no actual purpose, you may increase the circle size to 4 so that the whole set has the same CS, thereby making the set more consistent. still keep mine here (well yah a different CS doesn't matter for taikos) and CS 3 is mys style too :P same like on this map. mine is using 3 and the owner's of the beatmap is using 5
  1. 00:12:264 (1,1) - swap these notes to d k ? The music pitch at 00:12:430 (1) - is much higher than that at 00:12:264 (1) - 00:12:430 - should be a don because of the first beat (you can see from the metronome). it will be a perfect timing to emphasize it with a don. same reason like on 00:07:097 - which i used don on :P
  2. 00:12:930 (2,3,1,2,3) - ddkkd seems to follow the music in a better way, as a relatively high-pitched electronic sound occurs at 00:13:097 - keep mine here since ooo on 00:12:930 (2,3,1) - is match with the instrument sounds
  3. 00:28:597 (2) - consider removing the finish here ? A bit overemphasized imo.
  4. 00:31:264 (2) - same as ^ it's not overmapped btw. keep mine here
  5. 00:49:097 (2,3) - consider deleting these notes ? I think a short break works better here as the vocal pauses. nope for the inner one :P and those notes which make a stream follow the instrument sounds well too so i keep mine here

[Inner Oni]
00:08:097 (1,2,1,2) - I don't feel like these notes should be connected to 00:08:430 (1,1,1,1,1) - . the kdkdk fits well but feels weird to play with the connected kkdd pattern. 00:08:347 (2) - or 00:08:180 (2) - could be removed, ideally both can be removed but I'd tend to say you rather want to go with k ddkdkdk.
00:09:597 (2,1,2,1,2,1) - wouldn't you do d kkddk? d for consistency with 00:08:930 (1) - and kkddk for the holding sound in the background which is deeper at 00:09:930 - and higher at 00:10:097 - . This is also because 00:11:097 - 00:16:264 - are flipped in the follow so it'd make sense this way.
00:24:430 (1) - dkddd sounds weird to me.. that's more my view than something objective but I have the idea to change the pattern to dkkdd. It sounds imo by far more intuitive and enjoyable to play.
00:48:430 (1,2,1,2,1) - With 00:48:264 (1) - as Finisher I find you could remove 00:48:430 (1,2) - and 00:48:680 (2) - and change to 00:48:764 (1) - as Finisher note. this emphasize the song and the usage and connection to 00:48:264 (1) - much better.
01:15:930 (1,1,1,1,1) - dkdkd isn't really good at this point, at least I don't see why you would use it here. Try dkkkd (preferably) or dkkdd here.

[Oni]
00:30:264 (170,171,172) - Sounds more like kdd to follow vocals and background music properly.

[Muzukashii]
Generally, this difficulty doesn't provided many rest times which will be exhausting for players to keep track while playing. Oni uses dozen of 1/2 breaks and isn't too continously mapped - good thing for the Muzukashii so it can use 1/1 breaks.

suggesting removals for following parts:
00:08:097 (31) -
00:13:430 (57) -
00:21:264 (91,92) -
00:29:430 (128) -
00:37:264 (161,162,163,164) -
00:49:264 (27,28) -
00:59:680 (75,76,77) -
01:07:764 (111,112,113) -

These are raw examples, you can make your own and adjust the difficulty so you have breaks but still keeping the flow.

[Futsuu]
Although the BPM is on 180, I don't find we need to use 1.20x. Just stick with 1.40x (same for Kantan).

00:26:097 (62) - What about a longer break here? After you've adjusted Muzukashii to have more and longer break times you should provide some even longer for Futsuu then.
00:31:264 (76) - I'd like to see this part as kk, 00:30:264 (73,74,75,76,77,78) - would work as a nice counterpart to 00:27:597 (66,67,68,69,70,71) - .
00:32:097 (79) - Would remove to shortend the combo lenght to be consistent with the counterpart 00:27:597 (66,67,68,69,70,71,72) - .
00:37:764 - 00:41:597 - We should have something easier here since it is a big difficulty spike, my idea was to do this: https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/Nv9H1sbL.png Although it boosts the SR a bit, you should ignore that since SR is pretty garbage and not a good indicator for this case.
00:49:430 (19) - similar to 00:26:097 (62) - I'd remove this so to have a longer break, do the same for 00:50:764 (23) - and 00:52:097 (27) - too.
00:59:930 (54) - although the break wouldn't bre really longer I'd say to remove this note as well.
01:06:097 (74,76,77) - To make this part slightly easier I'd focus on the bgm only and remove 01:06:097 (74) - and 01:06:597 (76,77) - .

[Kantan]
nearly 3AM.. but whatever, the difficulty itself looks good. I may look closer to it next time.

Conclusion: Mapset itself is good, I actually like it. However, I wouldn't consider the map to be ready since Inner Oni has some structure problems, and Muzukashii/Futsuu should have some more checks after adding more rest/break times. I am not sure if you're willed to get more mods since this is the first mod after two months.

00:49:430 (19) - similar to 00:26:097 (62) - I'd remove this so to have a longer break, do the same for 00:50:764 (23) - and 00:52:097 (27) - too. fixed.
00:59:930 (54) - although the break wouldn't bre really longer I'd say to remove this note as well. fixed.
01:06:097 (74,76,77) - To make this part slightly easier I'd focus on the bgm only and remove 01:06:097 (74) - and 01:06:597 (76,77) - . fixed.

[Kantan]
nearly 3AM.. but whatever, the difficulty itself looks good. I may look closer to it next time. Thank you for your kindness~ :3

I can get more mod for better quality of this map. and ming is afk for now. idk when he come back. so maybe I can adjust his diff.I don't want to ruin ming's style, but I agree your modding in his diff, so changed them.

Thank you for your modding Stefan~! :3

Hi! Mod requested from my queue t/579972/. I hope this can help you ^^

Nice song <3

[General]

  • nice job at the spread :D
  1. Add to tags: cute jpop christmas carol xmas (stolen from Volta's mapset lol)
  2. 00:16:430 - What about adding a 70% volume here? Then 80% in 00:27:097 - 70% 00:32:430 - and 80% back :3
Nothing more to point out :P
[Kantan]
  1. 00:03:097 (4) - what about making this K cause pitch is higher than the first one?
  2. 00:04:096 (5) - hmm this depends on you but K could work too :D
  3. 00:34:430 (50) - you could delete this to make a break on this section cause it's kind of slow and I think there are a lot of circles in a row :P
  4. 00:48:097 (7) - what about moving to 00:48:264 (7) - ? I think the current one doesn't fit at all :c
  5. 00:58:764 (24) - ^
  6. 01:13:764 (47) - 01:16:430 (50) - you could make them K to don't make this so repetitive (and to mark the different pitches through the section change)
[Futsuu]
  1. 00:03:097 (4) - same comment as kantan :p
  2. 00:10:097 (20,21,22) - you could make this kdk or kkk (fills better imo)
  3. 00:22:097 (53) - This one could be don since you're already using d k k on 00:23:097 (55,56,57) - and pitches are not the same (also to give some dinamicity)
  4. 00:29:764 (69) - hmm K to set the difference with last D?
  5. 00:55:097 - from here you could let some 2/1 break. I think it's kind of too dense (not bad mapped but dense for futsuu players)
  6. 01:00:764 (53,61) - these notes are so high for that place (maybe removing or changing to don could help, try it ^^)
  7. 01:13:764 (7) - same comment as kantan lol
[Muzukashii]
  1. 00:03:097 (10,11,12,13) - probably make these kat (sorry for being repetitive through the diffs but I think it could be nice). Also I think you could net here cause they're not neccesary to be exactly the same on every diffs
  2. 00:29:764 (124) - K probb?
  3. 00:37:097 (155) - unnecesary note imo
  4. 00:44:430 - on kiai you could include some triples. I think it's a little strange to use triples out of kiai and only 2 on this :3
  5. 01:13:764 - similar comment (?)
I want to point you're using many quintuples on Oni and just some little triples on Muzu D:

[Oni]
I'm not touching this diff cause objects: 420 blaze it
jk, it's fine
  1. 00:19:097 (104) - you could make this don to emphatise next kats
  2. 00:21:514 (121) - maybe removing this note?
  3. 01:07:597 (135,136,137,138,139) - this pattern is a little strange, I think even kdkkd fills better
[m1ng's Inner Oni]
  1. 00:10:264 (1,1,1) - try using d k D instead, fills better imo
  2. 00:45:930 (3) - try changing to kat. I think kat fills better and makes something different than 00:56:597 (3) - (they doesn't have the same pitch I think)
Nothing more to point. I think mapset is really good (considering the spread and stuff). I'm sure this will be qualified soon. Best of luck homura! :)

now is my turn to mod this mapset -w-

(?)

General:

Don = d
Kat = k
Big Don = D
Big Kat = K

Kantan

  • 00:33:097 - Change this note to d --> have same emphasis than previous note.

    00:47:097 - missing note? (possible d)
    00:57:764 - other missing note? (possible k)

Futsuu

  • HP=7

    00:38:930 - Missing note ... (k)

00:43:264 (1,1) - Delete --> is better a break here to emphatize the kiai time in next point.

Muzukashii

  • HP/OD = 5

    00:25:930 - -->

Oni

  • 00:08:430 - this part seems better as ... ddddk k ddddk k k k d k k k (?)
00:13:764 - Same here but last note is d

    00:26:514 - other k note here ...

    00:43:597 - change this section for d k d k k D, deleting 00:44:180-

m1ng's Inner Oni

  • 00:13:764 - repeat kdkdk d kdkdk d --> have same tone.

00:16:264 - Delete this note --> to emphatize the next note (sequence change).

00:29:264 - is better add other note in 00:26:680- and change for kdkdkkkD (?)

00:32:264 - Change this note to k --> same reason above.

    00:35:764 - change for kdkkDD D (?)

01:10:764 (1,2,1) - ctrl+g --> have bass sound but in this part seems good follow with blue notes.
    01:15:930 (1,1,1,1,1) - ddkdk --> Same situation ^

Hi M4M ;D
Kantan
00:03:097 - K to D
00:09:097 - d to k
00:15:764 - k to d
Futsuu
00:03:097 - K to D as in kantan
00:38:264 (92,93,94,95,96) - i think it might seem better from kk k kk to kd kd kd
00:50:097 - k to d (?)
00:51:430 - same thing
01:02:264 - k to d
Muzukashii
pretty nice like this ;D
Oni
00:06:430 - d to k (?)
00:10:097 - and 00:10:264 - k to d
00:17:097 - ddk to kkd would be a lot nicer to play ( I'm not talking about the sound but touch feeling)
00:21:097 - d to k
m1ng's oni
m1ng is untouchable <3
there weren't any mistakes, I just suggested things that according to me might sound better, btw gg for the mapset, really nice.
Good luck for ranking ;D

Hi M4M ;D
Kantan
00:03:097 - K to D 00:03:097 is strong sound than 1st D. so no change this :3
00:09:097 - d to k I hope this easy d d kkk pattern for beginners.
00:15:764 - k to d ^
Futsuu
00:03:097 - K to D as in kantan no change like Kantan.
00:38:264 (92,93,94,95,96) - i think it might seem better from kk k kk to kd kd kd (92, 93) accompaniment is same pitch. so maintain for now.
00:50:097 - k to d (?) fixed.
00:51:430 - same thing fixed.
01:02:264 - k to d fixed.
Muzukashii
pretty nice like this ;D
Oni
00:06:430 - d to k (?) I think this consecutive k is unnatural. and (24) pitch is lower than (22, 23). so no change this~
00:10:097 - and 00:10:264 - k to d I feel awkward use d in this point. because music pitch is too high.
00:17:097 - ddk to kkd would be a lot nicer to play ( I'm not talking about the sound but touch feeling) Thank you~ fixed.
00:21:097 - d to k fixed. and other diffs too.

Hi, from my queue :)

[Futsuu]
00:37:764 (91) - add finish, there is a cymbal sound
00:40:430 (99) - ^
00:46:764 (10,11,12) - kdk, I think it suits better
[Muzukashii]
00:46:764 (10,11,12) - k
01:01:097 (82,83,84) - kkd, same as futsuu
01:00:430 (80) - K

[Futsuu]
00:37:764 (91) - add finish, there is a cymbal sound I hope this small note for better flow to play, maybe this sudden finisher hard for newbie.
00:40:430 (99) - ^ same reason.
00:46:764 (10,11,12) - kdk, I think it suits better okay. fixed. and 00:57:430 - changed to kdk for consistency.
[Muzukashii]
00:46:764 (10,11,12) - k change to dkkdk
01:01:097 (82,83,84) - kkd, same as futsuu this triplet focus on accompaniment. (82), (84) has same strong sound. so I hope maintain this for kdk.
01:00:430 (80) - K vocal is downward this point. so I think d is more fit. and K is too consecutive If I change this. :3

hope this serves ;;

[ General]
  1. Make HP curve smooth. Muzukashii should have 6, and Kantan could have 8.
[ Futsuu]
  1. 00:55:097 - should have a note for consistency with 00:44:430 (1) -. if you wanna make a break, try removing the previous note instead.
  2. 00:44:430 (1) - add a note for consistency
  3. 01:07:430 (1) - why not using circle here?
[ Muzukashii]
  1. 00:31:430 (129,130,131) - no need 1/4 imo
  2. 00:54:264 (50,51,52) - I'd rather make triplet at 00:54:764 - than here.
You may call me back when you are done :D
