Steins;Gate!!!
Yep, keep adding sequels till the timeline is so fucked up and convoluted that we can no longer see the series with the same appeal. Do people really think keep going until you 'jump the shark' and ruin a great thing is a good approach to storytelling? I'm super cynical about the whole new steins;gate thing.Apple-san wrote:

People also fail to see how things become invalidated with sequels.Navizel wrote:

It seems majority of the posters still confuse deserve with want.
Maybe the people working on them aren't complete sellouts.Ceph23 wrote:
I'm still waiting for my second season of Sankarea, Hataraku Maou-sama and mondaiji tachi.
Why hasn't there been any news of these titles?

The same here. Generally it would be a lot better if producers were aiming in the new season, not in the next movie. I still hope they're gonna make a 2nd season.Suri wrote:

Depends on how it's executed though. Too many a Newgrounds character die all too quickly with the story moving on...Green Platinum wrote:

I was more referring to the fact they cannot have forced second seasons; there are plenty of shows that just kill of cast members artificially for shock value, AgK for example. The Gambler wrote:

Angel beats had a proper ending imo. I agree it deserved more episodes, but a second season would't have much sense. The ending reminds me Elfen lied's one, open interpretation and feelings together, objective acomplished, no need for more. The Gambler wrote:

That was literally a Key/Visual Arts VN that was beta-tested as an anime, with the game released during May 29th of this year.

They'd need another 26 episodes just to do the next two arcs.Megatastic wrote:

Higurashi fit four arcs in each season? I don't see why Umineko couldn't?Green Platinum wrote:

Each Umineko arc gets longer than the previous one. In the anime arc 4 takes 8 episodes. Plus you could only end a series on arc 6 or 8.Megatastic wrote:

If they couldn't fit it into one a season three would obviously be welcome as well!
That's true I guess. I would love to see her animated! <3Green Platinum wrote:

It was pretty hard to follow with just the red and blue but in the next four arcs Van Dine, Wright, Detectives Authority, Gold and Purple would just make it even more convoluted to follow. I would love to see Erika in animated form though.
Ask Teitoku Kantoku (Admiral Director) for sure #runs.Green Platinum wrote:
