[Archived] high res video not displayed or uploaded

Problem Details:

well, before, I could play a video 1280*720 (HD) on my map but now it doesn't work anymore.
size is 136 MB (marathon size 15 min)

upload is also not possible (creating package..), shows video error


what is the size limit on video for marathon?._.

osu! version: 20140513.7 (latest)

Definitely at least lower than 50mb. O.O
Please reduce the video file and try to keep the size of your beatmap as minimal as possible!

well, it DID work till I edited 1.5 min into it..

retrying with half size (640*360, 30MB)..


seems like 30MB will sometimes work, not always, and upload will definitely not.

actually doesn't really commute with size, rather with resolution, 360p x 30 MB x 64 kbps doesn't work, while 270p x 114 MB x 1 Mbps does

it sure seems like that

OBVIOUSLY UPLOADING DOESN'T WORK WITH EITHER.

Edit: So, under 32MB beatmap size, BSS doesn't let you submit mapsets, for above, it just freezes... anyone a better file type than avi for video?

now using 352x198px, 128kbps --> 16.5 MB, going lower is like impossible

Did you remove the audio track btw?

Also marathon maps have a cap of 70 MBs. Anything higher will need to be hax submitted.

Another teammate will need to check the video loading issue. I have space issues and can't download large videos.

yes, without audio already.

i got it uploaded on 198p x 700 kbps,in a way, but the video is missing on the download with video, but it works normally.

so i will have to set external links for video...
