My Rank is weird

So my current rank as of this post is #9,778 with 2,361pp while being #761 for my country rank.

I take a look at #754 country rank http://osu.ppy.sh/u/2493881

That person has more PP than me (2,369pp) but the global rank is 10,156.

Shouldn't I be around the 10k ranks instead of 9.8k?

What's weirder is that my rank even increases (decrease? increase? idcrease?) when I get more pp.

I tried that, my rank just increases. Been playing lots of maps as soon as my rank somehow hit 987X but no luck.

PP got recalculated, that's your actual rank, apparently. I went up from 22800 to 21400 too.

nothing got recalculated. hidden players (shadow banned?) are not in rankings anymore.

That would mean 500+ people got banned o.o

Also looking at Shirokami-s' screenshot it doesn't look like it.

alright then id like to say MOST of them. iirc mercurius was #13/12 on his page, but #10 on the rankings. now its constant. i really doubt there are a mere 10 hidden players in the top 2k.

My PP remains the same but my ranking is increased from 9.1k to 8.7k.

I also checked the threshold for 10000th. It need 2.8k PP yesterday. Now it becomes 2.4k PP.
