Are you sure the soft-hitclap is audible enough? I can barely hear the difference between the default soft-hitnormal and that custom hitsound file. Amplifying it might help. (This is especially noticeable in the verse, where it feels like it isn't hitsounded at all. For reference, my Effect volume is set at 100%.)

00:55:422 - Use a clap here? I think it fits pretty well with the instrument that is being played.

This is a Hard diff, you know, and stuff spaced like this definitely needs a higher level of aiming skill than what average Hard players have. Just saying my opinion here.
00:27:854 (1,2) - Is there a need to make these two objects touch each other? Look unaesthetic, IMO. You can easily move 00:28:665 (2,3,4) so they won't interfere with 00:27:854 (1).
00:41:233 (2) - Flip vertically for a better flow from 00:40:827 (1)? It might look bad if combined with 00:41:909 (3,4) as a whole pattern, though, so feel free to disagree.
00:45:152 (1) - Move to (455,345) so 00:44:611 (4)'s tail will be more centered on (1)'s path, like this?
01:14:071 (2,3,4) - Hmm, I'm not sure about what are you trying to do with a pattern like this. Sometimes, a slightly messy pattern like this can be cool as long as they fit well with the song, but I can't see the reason for this one. Just normally space or stack them?

Well, not much to say. This map's cool as is (~~just like the three Hanagonomi maps that I have modded before this~~).

I used large spacing here because it allows smoother cursor movement, and plays better in my opinion. Since the BPM is low, I don't think this is too hard for "hard", and feels better than if I were to use lower spacing.

None of them are official. Hana gonomi is the only romanization which is officially provided. And I think both Hanagonomi and Hana Gonomi are the valid romanization of はなごのみ, considering it's composed of two words and treated as a single word.

I think title should be reverted to be consistent with the other 3 ranked versions, most of the sources says the title is "Hanagonomi", only video says the opposite so far.

The romanization in the video seems to be the only one provided by an official source, which is why I prefer this one.

AR 5 and 8? Maybe consider dropping the AR on Hard by 1 and all the settings on normal by 1. I'm only really suggesting this is because all (Andrea, Sekai, and Flask) of the other ranked mapsets max out a 676 hard/insane and 343 normals.

Difficulties (Both)

00:04:071 (3) - NC this. Your NC patterns for this section have one every measure. I don't really see a reason not to NC here as a 2 combo isn't that short, especially since your Normal has a bunch of them already.
00:01:909 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - (used normal, but this applies to hard as well.) I really recommend turning the volume down on the cleap beats (the tail ends of these sliders) | Right now that sound is too deafening to the ears and almost drives me to the point of insanity... well no, not that bad, but it really sounds overused. If you want to keep them, then consider cutting the volume for them by at least half.
01:24:206 (1) - I would recommend ending this spinner at 01:26:165 - where the similar sounding chime to your hitsound plays.

[Normal]

Another reason why I'm suggesting this is because 00:57:584 (1) - is such a troll note to hit lol. After the 3 piano notes where you have nothing. I expect the next thing to hit is the start of the kiai. I noticed this was really annoying to me when I played Flask's map.
01:05:692 (5) - Another personal preference. Try adding a whistle on the reverse arrow so it gives the reverse slider and the music more meaning.

[Hard]

00:05:963 (1) - You might be missing a whistle on the end of this reverse slider?
00:24:341 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - And some other notes ahead. These claps feel a bit loud as well, especially when you use them all 1/4 like you do. Try lowering the volume a little?
00:51:098 (4) - Super nazi: x183 y172 for a proper tail stack.
01:07:990 (4) - Missing drum sampleset to be consistent with the maps hitsound patterns.
01:10:017 (4,5) - To be consistent with the rest of the difficulty, Try to get this to be a 1.5 gap. This was the only note I got a 100 on for some reason from this pattern, and I think it's probably due to the 1.4 DS instead of the 1.5 you used on all of the rest. x132 y227 is perfect 1.5 snapping if you want an exact coord.

Try ending it at 00:57:584 (1) - | This leaves a 1/1 gap until the next note, but since this is a Normal, a 1/1 gap would be more than enough room for players to adjust. Another reason why I'm suggesting this is because 00:57:584 (1) - is such a troll note to hit lol. After the 3 piano notes where you have nothing. I expect the next thing to hit is the start of the kiai. I noticed this was really annoying to me when I played Flask's map. Spinner makes my star rating exceed 3.25.. I don't find the note on beat 4 to be "troll", since the timing is easily readable. Maybe it's a bit hard for beginners or players using a lot of mods... but I think it's perfectly playable.
01:05:692 (5) - Another personal preference. Try adding a whistle on the reverse arrow so it gives the reverse slider and the music more meaning. I prefer not to.

This was the only note I got a 100 on for some reason from this pattern, and I think it's probably due to the 1.4 DS instead of the 1.5 you used on all of the rest. x132 y227 is perfect 1.5 snapping if you want an exact coord. Fixed spacing.

Unfortunately people don't as you said, There isn't a rule about it (which I'm surprised), but it is recommended by many BATs and Modders, because they don't want duplicates of Artist/Title/Source/Genre in the tags. It's funny because it's more of a guideline now than a rule that you want a star rating of around 2.5 to 3.0. however this is usually judged on a case by case basis now as there have a few mapsets with a star rating of 3.5 average that have been ranked without issues.
Also with the new star rating system, your map will be only 1.03 stars making this difficulty Easier than a lot of other maps. Ex: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/404667 / https://osu.ppy.sh/b/421038 / https://osu.ppy.sh/b/398059
Ask the bat who mods your map. You shouldn't have an issue ranking this if its 3.23, or even 3.25+ because this star system is going to be obsolete in a week probably

Edit: New star system is live. You shouldn't have any issues now right?

I don't plan on mapping another difficulty, so if this map doesn't meet ranking standards in its current state, then I won't update it, since it's already in the graveyard.

the BG looks like it is a screenshot from the anime which in my opinion doesn't look so nice, there is a lot of good nisekoi fanart out there that would fit this song, a light BG would work really nicely

00:05:963 (3,4) - Either use the clap or don't use them at all? The instrument sounds that you mapped with the two circles... sound quite similar here. It'd make more sense to do either one of them.
00:20:557 - There isn't really anything to map here. It feels overmapped, and by that I mean overmapped badly. You should just use a 1/1 slider to replace 00:20:287 (4), IMO.
00:28:665 (2,3,4,5) - Why not begin the increase of the spacing from (2,3) instead of (3,4), since the music starts to get stronger at (3) instead of (4)?
00:35:422 (3) - Move to (440,312) so it'd be in-line with 00:34:341 (1,2)'s head? It'll look neater, and since the music's strength is pretty consistent here, this will make more sense since the spacing is consistent too. Remember to deal with the next objects (you know, fix the spacing and stuff) if you really did this.
00:37:584 (3,4,1) - Would've liked to see the spacing consistent at least since you made a jump at (3,4) but not (4,1) while there is clearly a cymbal sound at the beginning of (1) that can be nicely emphasized with a jump.
00:40:827 (1,2) - Try using 1.3x spacing? It feels more natural to use a value that is around a third bigger than the default spacing when you're dealing with syncopations. Well, that's for me at least; feel free to do anything you want.

If I use too many claps in a row, it creates this ticking sound that honestly doesn't sound great at all. by alternating clap nothing clap, it has a nice little feel to it. I personally like it how it is.

So I made some changes. I went with 1.25 spacing like I did for 00:35:422 (3,4,5) - Hopefully this plays and feels nicer.
00:38:125 (4) - I'd convert this in two normal beats, judging from your hitsounds Done. This actually fixes Hinsvar's mod above as well with the jump issue. So between these two, I managed to make something nice <3

Reasons for rejecting 0.75x SV:

I think it needs to be a bigger SV change than 00:38:665 (1) which is 0.75x, because the change in the music is much more drastic here.

kind of wished you mapped 00:47:044 - this melody since you are mapping almost every thing in this music

01:12:990 (4) - There shouldn't be a clap here, it sounds erratic from your pattern.
01:15:287 - probably adding a clap here is a good idea cuz this note sounds out of place without any hitsound
01:21:909 - adding a circle here and starting the spinner would give more ending effect, since you guys are using a very nice hitsound :3!! makea the most use of it!! ~~though this is personal preference :3~~

kind of wished you mapped 00:47:044 - this melody since you are mapping almost every thing in this music I don't think it's necessary to map that beat, as I tend to just follow whichever rhythm is the most interesting at the part, and that note is pretty minor. The empty time also lets 00:47:314 (1) be stronger.
