Animes that try too hard to be good are usually bad~

I dropped Durarara. The plot progression feels slow. I dropped it after I watched episode 3

I can bare with all the minor things like random fanservice etc as long as the story is well written and consistent, and the characters are well developed.
That is all I really care about. The rest is just personal opinion like character designs, VAs etc. I don't really let that affect my score too much.
