Hey y'all!
I started playing less than two weeks ago so I'm very new to this and want to hear experienced players' opinions about a few things!

1. Am I on track for how little I've played?

2. Should I focus on getting full clears of fewer maps or getting average clears of as many maps as I can?

3. Should I try to push myself to complete the most difficult maps I can, or should I focus on moderately difficult maps until they become easy?

4. Where would I find some good beatmap packs that have maps in my difficulty range?

5. What other feedback do have for me!

Thanks in advance!

1. It doesn't really matter when you're just starting out, but you're doing ok so far.

2. It's always good to try new things and practice different skillsets, so just go for whatever you can A-rank for now.

3. Definitely the second one. Pushing yourself to the extremes in never a good plan.

4. You can google something like "osu easy aim maps", but I suggest learning how search filters work. They're really useful, especially if you want to practice something specific (like low AR or a more precise star rating).

5. I was about to say "playmore" but you did 600+ plays in like 6 days, so... Just keep playing, you'll get better eventually.

1. probably

2. whatever you find more fun to do

3. moderate maps (with a little bit of maps you find difficult)

4. I would say to just search for songs that you like and see if there are maps for them, it's better to play with songs that you like listening to.

5. have fun!
Mugenq
1) idk
2) spam until perfection -> get a shit ton of B ranks -> spam until perfection
3) read (2)
4) uhmmmmm this is hard, until you get a big collection just go to multiplayer and download maps there, or explore the beatmap search for songs you like (EDM, touhou, metal, jpop, kpop, jrock, meramipop, etc)
5) enjoy game

1. I can't tell

2. More maps over Full Combo. Improve accuracy overtime

3. Moderately difficult, anything you're confidently can improve accuracy overtime

4. Anything you want around your star difficult range, just search around

5. Nothing! Enjoy game!

1. Doesn't really matter as you're just starting out, have fun.

2. If you are really serious about improvement, you should focus on getting more high-accuracy clears starting from the easier diff. and slowly increasing it. If not, just have fun doing whatever you feel like to.

3. The latter definitely, especially since you're just starting out so that you won't develop bad habits.

4. osu! website beatmaps section, or this forum.

5. Don't stop playing, find communities, watch tournaments, have fun

There's really no point thinking about it. Even if you wanted to, it's too early to draw any conclusions.

The second is probably marginally better in terms of improvement, since it'll expose you to more new patterns. It doesn't matter that much unless you are retry spamming really hard, though.

The latter.

Focus on reading, like really reading, not reacting. Read each note as individually as possible and try to absorb its timing and position. I know it sounds like "just hit the circles bro" but it's easy to just get lazy and click each circle as fast as possible, among a variety of other reading-related issues that are common for beginners.

learn hard tapping and light tapping and master both as early as you can
