Problem Details:
Last Week i I Managed to Play Wahrheit Saten Insane on B Combo:279
Since then i wont get higher rank even if i Bet my score any other map Insane/Hard
For example.I played a lot the last 2 day but my Recent Activity shows the last Play was 6 Days ago,While im on the highest activity since i started Playing Osu.
About an hour ago - Masayoshi Minoshima - Necro Fantasia [Hard] 2,508,774 (S) None i played this one to show it.(Last record was B 128 combo)...
First its not in the Recent Activity,2nd i lost 300 ranks for this.im so

maybe because your accuracy, PPv2 takes accuracy HIGHLY into consideration. The difference between a 99% and a 97% score is immense in terms of the PP it gives you.

First off I will say that you need to play more before you can come even close to worrying about rank. If [insane] maps aren't easy for you to clear with good accuracy without mods then don't bother worrying about rank. Instead focus on being able to play at a competitive level.

Method 1:
Go here, http://osu.ppy.sh/p/pp
Find your rank
Look above or below it and go to a user's page
Find their top performances on their user page
take the first couple of scores and match or beat them.

Method 2:
Go to the beatmap listing sorted by difficulty

Find the star rating on a beatmap page (it's different from the in game one)
The higher the rating the more points.
Find and clear maps with Full Combos and high accuracy, you can use mods to increase the amount of points you get.

Keep in mind you can't keep clearing the same difficult of maps. Eventually they will give a lot less pp. So if your top performance is 180pp and you beat a 170pp map you will get very little. When you clear a 200pp map and it's your top performance the 170pp maps will give you even less than before. You just have to keep climbing and getting better.

Later down the road when you get better here is some other advice:
Currently there aren't that many Ex diff maps so the amount of no mod pp you can get is rather limited. Mods will be your best bet in climbing quickly. DT gives a large amount depending on the map, so speed is your best option to develop currently (assuming you have decent accuracy). If you don't have good accuracy try playing hard rock so you can improve; then build your speed.

In my honest opinion rank doesn't matter (to an extent) . Focus solely on getting better at the game and pp will come naturally.

well i never played osu for Ranks only ^^ i play it for fun i guess i was just confused that post is so old xD i dint knew about the %pp´s now i know it was cuz of 97% 95% scores

for everybody who reads this

for example

u are Rank 50.000
u play 4*Insane map 95%=100pp 99%=160pp

that was just randomly making up that not means u will get 160pp on a 4*map with rank 50k.
