Which is Better for osu!mania: Stable or Lazer?

I've been playing osu!mania for a while now, and I've been wondering whether the regular osu! client (stable) or osu!lazer is the better choice. I know Lazer has some new features and a different engine, but I'm not sure if it's fully optimized for mania gameplay yet.

For those who have tried both, which one do you prefer and why? Does Lazer offer any advantages in terms of input delay, performance, or customization compared to Stable? Or is Stable still the go-to version for serious mania players?

from what ive seen, most mania players use stable only because of lazer scores stuff because scores arent shown. ig also how acc is slightly different. if you dont care about scores all too much then lazer is probably better. editing skins is a bit annoying considering you have to export a file in stable amd go back to lazer but editing skins doesnt happen often anyway. the editor isnt really too good but i like having everything in lazer even if it means no reference chart amd accidental stacked notes

In my opinion I perfer lazer more than stable.
I usually play on my macbook and it's obviously horrible for gaming
-> Stable is very laggy for me on mac so i have no other choice than to play lazer

However, lazer provides you features such as osu!direct which is only for supporters in stable for free.
You can browse songs in-game!!
In addition, I honestly love the UIs of lazer and it's really easy to find stuff.

One of the flaws are probably the point that you can't really compare scores with friends.
Stable scores does reflect to lazer leaderboards but not the opposite.

-> Even the #2 4k player invadey uses osu!lazer so honestly it doesn't matter. The only difference is the accuracy and how it looks.

if you do play just for fun like me then lazer is the option, i only play stable for mapping and dans now

no difference in performance but the very big pros of lazer for me is the rate changer
