So for some reason there are two levels of Full Combo: one where you can't have a miss (and bad from what I've read but I didn't confirm myself), which gives the x star FC medal, and then theres the one where you can't have a good and below, which gives you the "perfect" text on the performance line thing. Why is that? Is it a bug or a combination of the Stepmania and osu!mania combo system where Stepmania goods/100s break combo?

There are actually three, fc with all judgements except misses, fc with all 300s and 320s and no greats, no goods, no misses (100%), and fc with all 320s (100% and 1000000 score). Thats only on stable though. In quaver and lazer 300s only give you 98.2% and to get 100% youll also have to get 1000000.
there are a lot of score fc systems each one has names some can be something like mf, pfc, mfc, gfc, fc, etc etc the way you can tell what they are is simple a pfc only has perfects and above hence the p for perfect a fc generally has whatever's the lowest denominator of score but isn't a miss stuff like mf aren't fc's but they are terms (i think mf stands for monofail? i don't remember it much but its generally when you mess up on an almost really good score so lets say it stands for mothertrucker)
