I tend to map smooth things while following the song and the vocals. The hardest difficulty is not considered overmapped because the song is quite slow since it's an english song. It's all about the flow~ :3
I`m not really good at describing things lol so ill just say that I try not to make my map too complex and I try to be somewhat simple but a little creative even on the hardest diff. Prefer if you don't mod the 2 normals diffs.
I mostly use 5 degree rotaion on straight sliders and I like sliders that's more than just a curve. I also like to do some overlaps and similar shaped slider pattern

Well, its a collab so ill describe only mine i guess: Generally looks fine but makes little sense. For slower parts ds, for harder i use nonsense huge spacing because i cant play it so that i believe its not shit. I try to use kicksliders like sliders and not circles but they dont work most of the time.
1/4 spam the highest diff is somehow map for alternate tapping skill , I still try to map for playability tho xd so most of things I try to map to match the tone of music there og
