Physical copies of things are extremely satisfying.

Not even everything I own, just stuff I remembered to bring with me when I moved last year (other things are around the apartment in stacks due to recent viewings):

Also, that Queen's Blade Rebellion copy was a free prize from con trivia. Only reason I own it. :B

I own avatar and blue exorcist on DvD, that's about it XD and I wouldn't really consider avatar an anime.

I wouldn't say downloaded anime is a 'collection'.

As for hard copies, I have K-On!! on blu, Gurren Lagann on DVD, Aria the Animation on DVD and Kiki's Delivery Service on DVD. Barely anything, but something is better than nothing.

I only have these on my laptop(things that I haven't finished), the rest is on an external hard drive.

Most of my animes are already deleted because my friend told my teacher that my anime folder is filled with ecchi animes >< Not all actually, but my teacher already trusted my friend, so yeah.
After that incident, I usually stream, except for some episodes of some animes that I didn't get to watch because of my schedule.

That folder name is less embarrassing than having people think I watch animu

It's not a pure anime folder, the huge number of files mostly comes from manga

It's a joke :P
I actually created the folder a few days before a friend came over and stayed at my place for a week. I knew he'd be using the PC, so I created a folder with an obviously inappropriate name in an easy to find location and put in the first episode of Sailor Moon just to see if I could get a reaction out of him (totally worked btw). Then I just got lazy and started putting other anime/manga stuff in there, and by now I've kinda grown fond of the folder name. It's easy to find since it's always at the bottom of the alphabetically ordered list of folders on my harddrive.
So yeah, that's how my anime folder got its name.

70.9GB in one folder, 29.11GB in another. Just deleted 46.3GB of Anime a couple of days ago so that makes it....(too lazy to do math so opens calculator) 146.31GB out of 297GB. I mostly stream my Anime tho, just recently started downloading. Would do it more often if my internet wasn't crap.

Rest of HDD space are used in order of most to least by: Moe pics, Anisons, VNs, Other software(video players, image editors, etc.), Manga/LNs.
Drowned Crow
Raiken-
more than 1TB

If +Tokusatsu too.
Anime only is around 452gb including Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and More.
AutoMedic
300 GB spare drive full of pirated chinese cartoons
Sendetsu

Most of the M: things (and some of A:) is backlog of old anime I'm too lazy to watch…
The ones in D: are temporary files for the airing ones that I'm supposed to watch (60Go waiting to be DLed because I don't have enough time to watch them atm ~~)
_SeiunSky

Only that big, for now... :D
Gunnaka
Only 24GB, and that includes a few VNs.

I tend to stream most of what I watch rather than download.

My anime's backed up onto ext HDD over the years so I had this excel tracking sheet do the job of counting:

I guess it's not a lot with today's 1080p standard, but that was huge back in the old days where 640x480 is the standard distro =.=
Revy-
grammar on this post is horrible

Seriously just stream the shit. Like it takes up so much space. If i were to download my Anime i would not have a computer anymore.
I'm not blind, so no. Quality is just too poor. Sometimes 1080p streams can rival the TV broadcasts, but rarely and if the BDs are out, forget about it.
Some bittorrent clients support streaming the file and you can delete it afterwards, you know...

I'm at 3.67 TB + a bit on an external drive. My screenshots folder is 10 GB (15000 files).
Mogsy
I only torrent things I can't stream legally. Because you know what's good? Actually monetarily supporting the folks who provide you with your entertainment. :T Animators need to make money, too, y'know. They make too little as is already.

Also, stream video quality isn't actually that bad, provided you have a stable connection. Nobody needs 1080p during broadcast in general (most anime is made in 720p anyway, 1080p bluray releases are a different story) and streaming 720p isn't actually that bad. Not every stream is like the free video streams people are used to, ffs.
