kiai background in stable is blinding so you definitely shouldn't use default skin

idk why but i just sightread diagonal squares better than circles

If you're better with diamond then go with it.
Fact:
- 9k player riunosk uses no rim for skin because his eyes go haywire otherwise.
- Naverlyn (top Indo player) uses hexagonal notes
- XK2238 (I would argue, Indo GOAT jack of all trades who HDs 340 BPM) uses no-face notes with dark rim
- I use typical taiko don-chan notes with slimmer rim (got those rims from Yutsu-'s userpage)
Also, usually we use darker taiko right bar and we would kill the right-bar-glow
although throughout osu! taiko history we have top players who use default skin, TnT skin, and a skin not too dark with patternless notes. For patterned notes we have (atm) shinchikuhome for instance.
You just use what makes your eyes don't strain is all
