Because o2jam made 7k popular.
Why don't you try 8k? I hypothesize that as long as there are no thumbs, you'll enjoy 8k more than 7k,

i already tried and it just didnt feel right to me for whatever reason lol

way more accessible than full finger control it's practically 7k with two spacebars

i use zxc space numoad1 numoad2 numoad3 i dont wanna use zxc space ,./
z x c [space] [Right Arrow] num1 num2 num3 also works for 8k.
I use [Right Arrow] for 10k. Flipping the spacebar and [right arrow] key feels more comfortable on the thumb for me, give it a try if you've got mech keyboard.
