Problem Details:
Mouse is stuttering when moved around at high speed.
Current mouse settings when tested were 3x sensitivity on a 1600 dpi mouse.
Note : I've tried using raw input and it didn't help.

The black line represents where my mouse should be going. Roughly.

osu! version: 20140410.5 (latest)

This is a common problem with people who play on Windows 8.1. Usually setting the sensitivity to 1.0 should fix this problem.
There's a wiki article about this as well.

If you're not using Win8.1, then the cause might be buggy mouse/tablet drivers. Try updating your drivers.

This was a problem on W7 aswell, I get it if i go under 1.0x aswell.
W8.1 is still very bug and instead of changing the sens in Osu you should prop install drivers for your mouse and change it there.

I'm currently using Windows 8.0.
Just like to add that in.

Did you fix it by chaning it back to 1.0x?

I did change it back to 1.0x, but the sensitivity is very inconvenient. :l

Increase the DPI of your mouse to make up for the sensitivity, probably?

can also happen at low polling rate, is there any switch on your mouse labeled like "250 Hz/500 Hz"? Try to set it as high as you can

anything under 500 can be unreliable

You might actually try to -lower- the polling rate to 500 or so. I remember hearing something that 1000hz can cause problems in some apps (though that might just apply to overclocked mice?)

tried lowering polling rate. didn't work.

this may sound stupid but its my last idea
blow on the hole at the bottom of the mouse where the optics are, then run your thumb over it to catch/pull any dust/hair out.

no go.

How is the mouse going in that zigzag motion in the SS? The cursor shouldn't be moving suddenly backwards against your movement direction. Maybe your mouse can't handle this type of movement and you should just lower your sensitivity to a more stable value.
