---------------
MBC#4 equal 8th place with 3 other mappers.

A different kind of map, where the Easy and Normal are simple and solid whereas the Hard requires a higher level of co-ordination for certain areas.

Map is dedicated to GladiOol whose many CS5 maps have provided great inspiration to me for this contest :)

Rappy vocal-focussed rhythms huh.. seems a bit tricky for Hard, but oh well.

  1. 00:11:545 (1) - those finishes sound a bit too sharp when used that frequently; try around with lower volume levels perhaps or stick to using them every 4 big whites instead
  2. 00:16:935 (3) - I can see you're going with the bright front rhythm here but I'd rather see two circles here as it feels unnatural to not play the first (and fairly accentuated due to the hitfinish) beat of the next section
  3. 00:18:927 (1) - ^ similar thing here; the mainbeat is integrated and "hidden" in the slider - also, I don't enjoy starting (short) sliders on weaker ticks
  4. 00:22:560 (1) - another one of those; guess you figured what I mean anyways, so I'll leave them alone now
  5. 00:25:138 (4) - personally I like drum-hitfinishes and -claps more in addition to a soft-hitnormal, but you're making good use of the drum-hitnormal here, so that's fairly okay
  6. 00:27:951 (6,1) - bleh, those don't feel like they compliment another well; I'd rather see 1 CTRL-J-ed
  7. 00:30:295 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - why's one of those 1/4-pairs stacked on the slider and the other not?
  8. 00:32:404 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - man this is tricky, specifically considering you are labelling this as Hard, not Insane or anything; be cautious with these (even numbered streams, sliders and "stream"-starts on weaker beats)
  9. 00:37:795 (1) - errr.. this part is silent.. there's nothing; doesn't call for SPINASFASTASYOUCANTOPASSTHISSPINNERANDGETMOREPOINTSTHANTHEOTHERPEOPLE477BLAZEIT actions for me, please remove it >:
  10. 00:44:123 (2) - idk I feel like the stronger vocal (and instrumental line's beat) land on the white tick here; same goes for similar examples later on
  11. 00:47:170 (1) - oh wow.. four points for such a tiny wave..
  12. 00:49:982 (4,5,6) - I see you're doing a line with 4,5 and 3's end but this just feels too close-squished together for the wide vivid feeling the song has at this point; I'd rather space it a bit more out and put it to the left - example below
  13. 00:53:498 (1) - doesn't feel like a spin to me either but oh well.. at least it's not on silence!
  14. 00:54:670 - there should be a note here though; this beat is too important not to be clicked - also, the whistles in the following part feel a bit too loud. something like 37-40% sounds more like it, but that'd cause a lot of inherits so I'm not too sure about that one
  15. 01:05:920 (1,3) - similar to an earlier example, those don't really compliment another..
  16. 01:07:795 (1) - why would you spin here arahgahgghaghhlhl *inarticulate noise*
  17. 01:17:170 - not into the vocal-focussed fast paced thingies.. I'm more of a melody-focussed person in calm parts, so yeah; no particularly big 'issue' with that, just I personally think it leads too far away from the song's atmospheric background to press 1/4 notes on vocals
  18. 01:18:927 (1) - those sliders though >:
  19. 01:27:482 (5,6,7) - the stream end is a bit screwed due to autostacking here; I wouldn't mind a compressed alternate version here since that also feels well with the dense drum samples
