Hello, today I went to play osu and an update message appeared, after which the game suddenly crashed and I didn't want to open it anymore. I reinstalled the game but it still doesn't work, a file written ".require_update" appears in the game folder. can anyone help me?

Try opening the game while holding shift, then pressing repair osu!.

I did this but the window closes before I can do anything, and when I can press repair the window closes again without making any changes

I did what the wiki asks and nothing appears in the log, when I type osu a window appears saying that nothing was found and all the errors that appear are dated on days when the game works normally 😢😢

Please try running the installer from the website (without uninstalling). Sadly you already uninstalled once which is sad, your beatmaps will be gone and as you can see, it most likely doesn't fix the issue (don't do that again).

If running website installer doesn't work,

When did this start? And also please upload the Logs directory from where osu! is installed if possible and give us the link.

I did this and the error still persists in the same way, the game opens and plays the initial phrase "welcome to osu" and closes immediately afterwards.

This started after a driver error for my video card, I restarted my computer and this started to happen

Hello! I came to say that I already solved the problem in a strange way I think, whenever I enter the game with the wallpaper engine running the game presents this problem, after I turn off the wallpaper engine the game works normally

Probably to intensive or some weird graphics phenomenon going on in which it doesnt know how to display them both at the same time.

id recommend not using wallpaper engine or possibly using a static image instead of a moving one, if you are using that.

Making sure that you have the most updated graphics drivers is a good start and making sure that you do a new/clean install of those graphics drivers is pretty important as well.

Oh yes! I understand, I will take it into consideration, but since the problem has been resolved I appreciate the attention!
