[resolved] [confirmed] Crash when spectating, playing, or retrying maps.

Problem Details: Whenever I play any song, CtB, standard, or (rarely play) taiko, I crash. Hidden or Double time (night core too) isn't related to the crash. (Stated by peppy) I am running borderless, no fullscreen mode. 1600 x 900 resolution (if that matters) and CtB mode. It is replicatable. i was able to do this 6 times. However it is a pain to replicate.

Several songs have been reported to cause this crash.

I have obtained the crash code and here it is:

Video or screenshot showing the problem: I cannot really capture it, it happens in an instant, and has a random behavior. Although it happens on the same time. (loading maps after selection)

That doesn't really help... I wasn't full screening (per say...) and no other programs were open.

I get the same error, but in my case i did not use any mods, and it was after several retries, sometimes on first play. My guess is that it's not connected to Hidden and Doubletime alone.

Huh, that helps. Imma change le title.

It did happen after several replays. I guess coincidence that it was with mods?

Running Windows 7 64 Bit.

That doesn't crash the same time when I do... but it has le same code.

I crash when I begin playing a song, like when it's loading. It has the rotating loading circle thing (fail) and then crashes.

I can't confirm the thread unless I (or another Support Team) can replicate it.

Your video shows a facebook notification appearing. Sure it's not related?

No confirm because it cannot be confirmed. You haven't provided anywhere near enough details.

Does it happen on full-screen? windowed?
Does it happen in all game modes?
Is it reproducible? Because it seems random from what you are saying.

Nope, it's my wallpaper...

It happen in full-screen and windowed, for all the beatmaps but only in taiko mode....

So im not running Fullscreen mode.

I couldn't really replicate it on Standard. Then again, it's difficult to reproduce at times. Also yes it is a bit random.

As it is a sprites error, maybe it has something to do with the CtB character? (guessing)

I have gotten more info from the #help page. Turns out many people have reported it... Saying

Many people have reported the same exact error, while doing other things.

So there is probably another thread somewhere out there on this problem... I'm just too lazy to look.

it also happens on standard
it's easier replicated with several retries on one map.
so far haven't seen it happen on mania. i can't reproduce it on ctb or taiko myself, but other people seem to be able to.

I've been retrying and playing CTB for the past couple hours and not one crash. I don't think it will crash in CTB, unless it is spectating.

I had someone contact me earlier about this error occurring while entering test mode for Taiko. I could not replicate the problem, but the player seemed to be able to replicate it consistently.

I can replicate this quite consistently by playing Nano - Born to Be with the DoubleTime Mod.

I also get the same crash code:

I have been playing CTB all day and randomly got crashes. Up to 40 crashes today and yes, I have counted. The only thing I'm currently suspicious is due to I have been using HD and other mods and retrying when I miss a note
