I mean, I understand that both the s*ib*di type of it and the 2016 one with MLG's and stuff both have pretty much no meaning to it, but the later one is much more tolerable, nostalgic in some sort

yes, in retrospect MLG was loud and annoying and shit, but, often than not making MLG was difficult, very few MLGs actually existed, MLG was something you kinda had to seek
the problem with modern brainrot is how present it is, how every other day something new shows up, to that you have to add how it changes vocabulary and the perception of many topics, and also, unlike MLG, there is monetary incentive behind most brainrot.
