As far as I'm aware: there is no way to change it for free, unless your username has personal details in them.

No. Asking for supporter is against the rules. So don’t do that, not that you did but yea.
Either pay for the supporter, enter in some type of giveaway for it to be gifted to you, wait for someone to gift to you, or you have to deal with your name.
