the "just google it, it's genuinely pretty easy" is a common sentiment i hear and i don't exactly think someone would be wrong in assessing that, but it also is a fairly inconsiderate example of not really letting someone just be less-than-acceptably-logical... if both people are invested then the idea can be explained, if only the questioner is invested then it just means someone won't get it immediately
not really something to fault you for, and i don't imagine you intend to be callous, but i think both of our responses were reasonably understandable
i am not always entirely "all there", i'm usually partially daydreaming or in my own head, and i don't really have a very continuous stable attachment to the external world or what i can do with it
but yeah it wasn't really obvious to me, but also i was not paying very much attention, but now i know that it's a linguistic feature of punctuation ambiguity
Speaking english makes you comfortable with the language faster
