there is a correct way? I just kept playing ar10 until I could react to it.
also hr is not even close to what ar10 maps are like.
the closest similarity you'll get is probably DT 9.66 AR
speaking of which, does someone have the DT AR table

I can only guess he means maps that are mapped to AR10 are usually more difficult than ar8/ar9 maps with HR because they are usually higher bpm which is why he suggested DT.

Here's the general problem I have ok so I sat on HD HR for a day and failed everything getting to point...
Later on I could read ar 10 And played a bunch of unranked stuff hanata airman gold dust etc later cleared the normal gold dust after about 3 retrys.
Most ar 10 looked like ar 9 to me any ways come next day I can't read ar 10 at all (It doesn't stick)

This is giving me the impression I should

A. HD HR everything below ar10 and stick to multi HD helps dunno why. Never no MOD regardless of difficulty
B. Play only unranked AR10's and nothing else

Over the weekend I cleared a bunch of stuff I usually can't due to AR looking lower but now I can't clear those maps xD
This picture is airman http://puu.sh/7Gus4
AR10 gold dust NF http://puu.sh/7Htbc.osr http://puu.sh/7Ht8p.osr The actual clear <<<

My first clear of Saiya http://puu.sh/7Joqu.osr
I can't come close to clearing these now don't care about accuracy before somebody comments on it

This is all I do with my day pretty much http://puu.sh/7JrbN.jpg

While I'm not in multi & doing solo I like to be doing something productive than farming pp Like learning something I'm bad at .

There are so many other things that are more useful to improve at other than ar10, especially at your level

I'm in agreement with IAY here. I've been playing around the same length of time as you (~3 months) and, especially if you are aiming to better in general, learning AR10 should take the backburner to learning to accurately streaming higher bpms, getting higher accuracy, getting better at jumps, reading awkward patterns, and consistently holding combos.

AR10 is such a small portion of Osu! and really only becomes relevant when you are going for top50 scores with HD HR or playing approved maps like [holy shit its airman] or image material... which you wont be able to clear if you can read AR10 anyways considering these maps require high amounts of skill with jumping/bursting and streaming respectively.

Coming from a player that is in roughly the same boat as you, there are definitely more important things for you to practice than AR10 right now, but to each their own and if you feel like you would have a more enjoyable experience playing AR10 and HRing every map, then be my guest to learn it, just know that you are most likely holding yourself back from getting better faster. I totally understand that because when i was around rank 80k i starting playing almost everything on Hidden. I figured out I loved hidden and basically just played everything with it on, albeit poorly for awhile. People told me it was making me worse and dropping my accuracy, etc etc and that i shouldn't play it as much, but i enjoy it more than playing nomod, and eventually my accuracy caught up to par (~96-97% when playing maps that are not over my skill level), and I'm actually a better sightreader with HD than without

TL;DR: AR10 probably isn't the best thing for you to be learning at your current skill level. Practicing faster bpm, accuracy, and aim will be more beneficial, but if you really want to learn it because it will make Osu! more fun for you then go for it.

I hate ar 10 xD I just couldn't decide on what to practice.
what I need to do is change my mind set on this game I do play this game for fun but my mind set is improvement is more important than fun
Ragnawrawk
there's such thing as having fun in improvement, you can probably find something that you are not good at but not terrible at that is fun for you to play and that you can actually play without failing all the time. for me that's playing hr on anything because i can't hr fc anything but i'm at least good enough to not fail when i hr a good amount of songs so it's fun for me

also don't feel bad about not being able to read ar10, i couldn't read/play ar10 until like last month and i've been playing 2yrs~ with 20k play count
