First beatmap I've actually put a lot of effort into though only 2 difficulties. Hope you enjoy it and can give me some helpful tips.

For all the grid fixes you have to use grid level 4.
  1. 00:38:460 (1) Move the last node of the slider 1 grid space to the left.
  2. 00:39:420 (2) Move the whole slider 2 spaces to the left and 3 up.
  3. 00:51:420 (3) Make this slider rounded.
  4. 00:54:300 (3) Move this to [x=192 y=96]
  5. 01:24:060 (2) This seems wrong for me. Maybe playing with slider velocity fixes it.
  6. 01:30:300 (1,2,3) ^^
  7. 01:22:620 (1) Move the mid node 7-10 spaces down. This is to make it more interesting. You may repeat this in large sliders like 01:24:540 (1) or 01:36:060 (1)
Hard
  1. Remove the breaks from the beginning! They are really annoying! (If right clicking doesn't work, decrease the time of the break ;) )
  2. 00:45:900 (5) Replace it with a normal 1/4 slider.
  3. 01:08:700 (2,3) ^^ OR make it a single slider (example 01:24:060 (8,1) )
  4. 01:32:220 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) This is very confusing :S

Hi I can only point out a couple of things because i am very nooby at modding, but every little helps i guess :D and much better than my first beatmap by faar <3

Normal

01:09:180 (1) - here just nudge to the left a tiny little bit, so that it starts (stacks) where the last note ended, also
01:11:100 (3) - same as above here make it overlap with 01:09:180 (1) - start point.
this might mean to space the next note to the left and the slider at 01:12:060 (5) - I recommend making it a curve because next few notes go in a little curve too.
also this might help bring the 01:13:500 (1) - note closer so it can overlap 01:11:580 (4) - and look cleaner. jsut adjust the next few notes to fit the distance snap.

not sure about this but 02:23:820 (4) - this slider here maybe extend it to 02:25:260 or 02:25:500 - im not sure which fits better :oops:

Hard

ok this is all up to you (obviously) if you want to go with my suggestions.

00:18:300 (3) - this slider i think might be better to end at 00:18:780 - and add a note 00:19:020 here. (my own personal preferences, your current one is fine jsut see what you like better)

if you do that, then maybe 00:25:860 (4) - remove note here........00:26:100 (5) - bring this to 00:25:980 and extend like previous and put a note 00:26:700

00:17:940 (2) - hmm not sure about blue here, it seems to fit but also fits on red, but i think better on blue. though im not sure, just leave it be, see if other mods mind.

00:25:340 (2,3) - not snapped to a tick (i think, ai mod doesnt see it but its off tick for me, just make sure its on tick i guess thats all.)

00:32:460 (4,1) - try overlapping these i guess, makes it look cleaner, though you might need to move the other sliders with that because the pattern you are going for. maybe rotating the group can help? select the 4 sliders and CTRL + R this might help a little (you don't have to)

00:49:860 maybe add note here?

01:59:100 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - hmmm not sure if 4 and 8 should be stacked along with those as teh timeline it is further away, so people might mis time it easily. D:

02:33:180 (1,1) - not sure if second note is needed, or maybe turn into slider.

but yeah that's all i have, short mod sorry im very new to this, better than my first map haha by a mile...wait probably better than my maps i have now D:

Hello,

First of, keep in mind that everything I will say will be only suggestions, but please let me know, if possible, why you didn't change something, so I will be able to improve myself. I find the normal diff already pretty nice, so I will focus on the hard diff.

[General]
  1. Your hard diff is such an insane. Maybe you should rename it for insane. You used a lot of stream some etna sliders etc. The bpm might be slow, but keep in mind those techniques are still a hard stuff for a hard diff player. Try to catch someone who will be able to say right away if you should change your diff name.
  2. Try to use some hitsounds, it's really important. I would say hitsounds makes 45% of the map.
  3. I would start the kiai time where you ended it and I would finish it at the next break instead. The music sounds more intense.
[Hard]
  1. 00:22:740 (8) - Be careful with the aesthetic, it's important. Move this note to x:344;y:304
  2. 00:23:100 (1) - This one to x:232 ; y:248
  3. 00:23:580 (2,3) - Why did you change SV here ? Resnap (2) at 1.0x ds
  4. 00:24:540 (4) - DS x1.0, also I'm not a big fan of this overlap. I would place it on the left side of (3) and I would use Ctrl+J. It looks a bit messy right now in my point of view.
  5. 00:29:580 (2) - If you mapped 1/8, it's actually one tick before
  6. 00:30:780 (1) - This would be a nice note to add a finish on it. Try to experiment.
  7. 00:50:940 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I really like the rythme you gave here. Hit sounds will help to accentuate those kind of rythme
  8. 01:00:540 (5,1) - Those 2 notes might be too close from each other it feels a bit weird. You can reduce just a bit the distance of the straight line pattern and put the stream a bit more on the top/left.
  9. 01:32:220 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - a hard diff player will definetly spam this. But I like it though.
  10. 02:33:180 (1) - This is a bit weird too, in my point of view, curve sliders like this might look awkward when they're placed this way, I would opt here for a straight slider.
  11. 02:33:180 (1) - Reduce volume a bit, especially at the end of the slider.
  12. 02:18:300 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Another example : Insta fail for an average hard player. But the pattern is really good. So change name diff instead of the pattern lol

That's pretty much it. Not much, but well, I can see you put effort for this. It's actually pretty good for a first map omg *-* . Keep it up!

Just one thing.
to follow the way you put hitsounds on this 00:30:780 (1,1) -
Try to keep up.
  1. 00:33:660 (3) - finish on the head
  2. 00:34:620 (1) - ^
  3. 00:36:540 (1) - ^
  4. 00:37:500 (3) - finish just at the beginning of the slider (select the first circle on the timeline for this)
  5. 00:38:460 (1) - circle on head
  6. 00:40:380 (1) - finish just at the beginning of the slider
  7. 00:41:340 (2) - ^
  8. 00:43:740 (4) - finish at the end of the slider
  9. 00:46:140 (1) - finish at the beginning
etc.

See if you like, you can use finish this way. It's just suggestion. You don't have to change this.
(Also, if you do something like this, some people might cry that there's too many finish. It's a nice technique though, check happy30/Natteke's map...sigh) <- This isn't the easier way to use finish though. You can also use finish every strong white tick/every 2 strong white tick, as long as it fits. Try to see what you prefer. Make sure you don't totally overuse them though.

For the claps/whistle it's a bit different, try to follow the music to get a bit used to it.
01:40:860 (3) - 01:42:780 (5) - 01:44:700 (9) - listen the music at the head of those sliders, a clap would be perfect for this kind of sound!
Honestly, on a music like this I'm not totally sure how to use whistle, I would probably use them only on the kiai time though.

But,

Basically, the easiest way to use clap/whistle is to go: white tick: clap, next white tick: whistle, next: clap then whistle etc. This is a scheme, it needs to fit, of course, and this is up to you to listen and see if you like or not. :)
This isn't an exact science, as you guess, but it might help you to get boosted a bit ^^
