do you chart for 7k because it's what you played when you first started or do you find 4k more limiting at an artistic level

It's more the former. My first experience with osu!mania is the bundled map Renatus, which is a 7K map. I've also played a bit of Lunatic Rave 2 back when I was new to VSRGs. The artistic limitations of 4K is less important and I map 4K as well.

I spam lane 1 bass notes, and I definitely would not guillotine myself, so no.

Google don't serve Chinese users. Use Chinese apps (Baidu Maps, Gaode Maps) for street view in China.
