Well, Portugal is a relatively small country, and a small portion of osu! players are girls. You'd have to go out of your way looking for them to find a significant number of Portuguese girls who play.

I assume there is probably an osu! Portugal discord or similar, perhaps you could join it (if you aren't already in it).

nono youre ok!! sorry i wasnt being clear! im meaning to say that off-topic is a place where i normally expect people will be at least a little weird about anyone that looks like they would be a girl (and therefore, "i hope people will be reasonable")... i cant speak for anyone so i dont actually know what this means to them and why they have fun with jokes abt this

we had an ex-president of off-topic (her username was "ghoulybits", though idk if she is comfortable talking to people or even active anymore, i didnt check) where a few people here would have fun making jokes about this (kind of like a lot of people in the thread rn, although it usually is unserious ironic humor), bc idk women are rare in places like this and it can make them stand out more?? its awkward :/

i mean i hope and have faith nobody really actually actively does anything weird in reality, but it is sometimes something to be guarded about and i always believe its important to be safe abt this

anyway! you will find tight-knit communities of women somewhere eventually! but it just is not here in this subforum specifically

its ok to keep looking but always be safe, ive had experiences with people when i was way younger that i thought were being nice but would abuse their niceness and the label of friendship, so... just in case y'know
