(i dont particularly care one way or another about it beyond how it might affect the environment of off-topic and even then, artificial rules from someone in their villain arc would probably be fine enough as material for their roleplay. we're not particularly obligated to be involved just because they enjoy their roleplay)
When the guy RPing as the ability to lock, mute, delete and otherwise tamper with threads and silence people, it isn't exactly fun. Considering how little the osu! higher staff cares about GMTs abusing power as well, especially in a shitposting sub-forum, you can see where this is going. If it was anybody else doing this, it wouldn't be an issue in my book, but it is done by someone who holds a lot of power and thinks it will be funny to use it as a way to troll.Achromalia wrote:

i gather that maybe quite a lot of us in off-topic don't really fit in, though. a lot of us have very distinct traits that alienate us, and interestingly, i somewhat believed you were part of the norm here. you kind of have a lot of social capital in my eyes, an image, or something;; i suppose i've misidentified how people actually view themselves and each other...

Well, you certainly seem to fit in here better than me, but perhaps I am looking at this from the wrong perspective. I have been here in some capacity since 2018-2019 and the feeling never really went away for me and it sucks.
