I haven't played any From Software game and I'm honestly too intimidated to go to this one straight away. I will probably first try Dark Souls III and then Elden Ring, but not sure when.Hydreigon wrote:

thing is.. Elden ring is one of the most beginner friendly souls-game out there, yeah they do still have hard bosses later on, but the game gives u many resources on beating them combine with a big open world to explore any location u want and letting you choose if you wanna go exploring and levelling up or go straight to the hard bosses firstWinnyace wrote:

How do I know that an area is too high level for me? Besides, of course, going to the wiki.Hydreigon wrote:

DbD is only "horror" for the first 50 or so hours, then it becomes more strategic than scary (and honestly usually pretty funny).
It didn't seem like a game I personally would have enjoyed but I actually really like playing it.

tbf you're not really supposed to play fromsoftware games without looking stuff up, people always praise the lore of dark souls, but again, that is only something you're going to understand and appreciate if you look it up in youtube.Winnyace wrote:

in my opinion, first playthrough you should let the wind guide you, second one I think its alright to search for all quests that can be done or how to do x build. I just believe that there is something magical about wondering around and finding different bossesPatatitta wrote:

yes, in that example I meant the lore because it as the best example of it, but yeah, you must at least have someone guide you while playing, it's not really meant to be a completely exclussive single player no interaction type of gamePolyspora wrote:
