So searching the forum, I found next to no posts about this show. This kinda worries me :(

I personally followed it once it aired, but put it on hold for no real reason at around episode 20. Recently I caught up to it in like a weeek or so (ep 86) and am completely blown away.

Episode 42 or so was imo one of the greatest moments in anime ;v; I don't see anyone talking about this marvel of a show here though. Why? :(


Also I'd like to know people's impression of it so if you have anything to share just let it all out!

Space Brothers is still easily one of my favourite recent shows. Heartwarming, charming, and consistently funny yet personal.

As far as people not talking about it: it hasn't really become as big of a hit outside of Japan, despite it achieving quite major popularity there, from what I understand.

Episode 42 and the entire arc during that run with Hibito stranded and very nearly dying in a crevasse on the moon was some of the most intense shit I've seen in ages. This show knows how to tug at my heartstrings as well, such as every time Aunt Sharon is brought up after her ALS diagnosis.

UGH THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD. How are people not watching it still. 97 episodes in and still going strong.

Ikr?! I've never gotten this attached to characters before. It has this special charm to it that really hits home. Every arc (if you can even call it that because it still follows the original plotline) is special and every new character is unique and interesting.

I find it odd though. It's even up on CR which is a great platform for advertisement since it's constantly on simulcasts.

This is seriously a top 10 show for me already.
I dare even say that if space brothers keep this pace and gets even more intriguing, I'll shove it up on my top 5 favorite animes.
