3/4 sliders are readable and they fit very well. People who play Insane know how to read approach circles rather than only distance

1/2 are kinda unacceptable in Easy diffs (specially in high BPM like this one) because they're hard, yes, hard. Easy difficulties are meant to newbies learn to play and have the basics of the game, when they see close notes like 1/2, they will likely mash their mouse (or keyboard), which is not the purpose of Easy, you can do that in Normal.

If you need help to simplify the rhythm here, feel free to poke me. Good luck with rerank.

one of many reasons why osu! has a rather steep learning curve is reading of approach circles. having got a decent chunk of my friends to play osu! (~10), the first two things they always have trouble is 1. mouse control and 2. how the heck to read approach circles. it's why we generally avoid 1/2 rhythms in easies, because it makes learning how to read osu! all that much harder.

i agree that the easy here is very challenging, but did not bring it up because difficulty curve wise, it fits in with the rest of the map and lowering the difficulties of easy would only increase the gap to normal, and lowering normal alongside easy would increase gap to hard.

what i can suggest here as a compromise is to make a Beginner diff to compensate for Easy's high difficulty. i'm sure none of us should have any objections to that? [ Zzz ] gets to keep his diffs the way he likes them, while we have a difficulty more suited for beginners.

in the meantime i suggest you (No Dap you can help him if needed) find some good timers to check the timing of the map. i would suggest charles, but he seems to be busy and i'm not really free enough to hunt down timers for you, so all on you guys as well as discussing the possibility of beginner diff.

No Dap / 하아 ... 일단 자꾸 1/2 언급하길래 .. 오늘 아침에 다시 이지를 보면서 히트사운드랑 이런저런거 만지다가 생각한건데 .. 시간이 남기도 하고 .. 그래서 리맵까진 아니고 .. 조금 부분리맵 한듯싶네요 .. 더이상 그냥 이런저런말 듣기도 싫고 ... 왠만하면 일정량 지키는식으로 만들어야겠네요 .. 앞으로는 ... 번거롭게 하신점 .. 죄송합니다..

그리고 괜히 신중하게 선택안하고 안바꾼다했다가 바꾼것도요 ..

@zzz 지금 이지보다 쉬운 비기너 난이도를 만들어서 난이도 분배를 더 잘하게 하는걸 추천한다고 하네요. 그리고 타이밍 체크 잘하는애한테도 한번 받아보라고 하고요.

그리고 오시면 저기에 영어 쓰신거 뭐라고 하려고 하신거였는지 말씀좀... ygo가 이해를 못하겠데요.

the whole reason for getting a beginner diff to begin with was because the 1/2 rhythms were way too challenging in Easy. you should be using 1/1 beats rarely, and 1/2 beats never, unless necessary.

http://puu.sh/8evYu.osu <- this is around the difficulty your beginner should be. rare usage of 1/1, and 1/2's only when necessary. the diff looks messy because i made it in literally 40 minutes, but it should show you what your rhythm usage should be like.

@ygo In case you're wondering why other diffs are changed, I suggested him to increase the volume on the last spinner so the finish is actually audible.

00:10:772 (1) - I know you like straight sliders, but due to length it doesn't really look nice here. A curve would be better imo. Furthermore, I would take off the repeat and just leave a gap there, as it does go silent in the music except for the vocals.
00:13:739 (2,3,4,5) - Avoid mapping to white ticks 2 and 4 like you do, it doesn't really fit the music. For the intro, I would suggest a rhythm more like this:



00:31:870 (3) - The gap after the slider feels very empty. I suggest extending the slider by 1/1, then adding a repeat on it. Fits more.
00:34:837 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - Again avoid mapping on white ticks 2 and 4 like this.

  3. 00:31:870 (3,4) - YGO was worried about this part, so I suggest you use a rhythm like this for the whole combo:

i don't understand how there can still be so many problems.

Beginner:
00:05:812 (3) - Ending on previous white tick is better.
00:07:301 (1) - Starting on big white tick is more consistent with rest of diff. Vocals may start on red tick, but it feels sudden when the rest of map is mapped predominantly to 2/1 or more.
00:14:728 (3) - Remove whistle from head.
00:16:046 (1) - Move backwards 1/1 so it starts on big white tick.
00:18:024 (2) - Start this 1/1 earlier, then extend so it ends in same place.

@Charles, I was referring to tapping in 1/2 (as in circle-slider), not 1/2 sliders, sorry if this caused a misunderstanding, a few days ago I had a tiny chat with [ Zzz ] after he changed the 1/2 circle-slider for 1/2 sliders, and then it was pretty good to go.

While I do agree an Easier diff wouldn't be needed after this, that diff doesn't hurt too much at all right? Might be dropping a small mod for it if needed.

it's a lot more different on songs with higher bpm, such as this one. newbies struggle from several things, which in relevance here, are learning to read approach circles as well as simply keeping in time. all of the switching from 1/1 to 1/2 and back to 1/1 along with the high 182bpm already makes this a very, very challenging difficulty for easy. it's a normal diff in all regards.

to begin with, i only recommended the beginner diff. as i thought it'd round all the map spread very nicely. if you want to interpret it as forcing, then okay.

in regards to unrank, although all i said was "soft-hitnormal.wav is completely silent", there were several instances in the map where beats were left unhitsounded (and were therefore completely silent). that i should've pointed out.

in regards to my comment, it came out a lot more harsher than i intended it to be. previously when modding the Beginner difficulty, i had pointed out areas without much about how to fix them, giving the [ Zzz ] freedom on how to apply the changes. however doing so only brought about more issues within the diff, so i was giving precise and direct instructions to avoid more problems and to get the map back up to rank sooner.

in short, any malice you may sense from my comment was completely non-intentional, and i apologise as reading back i could've worded it a lot better. but believe me when i say i'm trying my hardest to polish up the difficulty as much as possible before re-rank.

Remember, as you said, this is high BPM. Having streams in a Hard difficulty is really hard for something labeled as "Hard." I really recommend reducing their use to only strong points in the song, not minor transitions to similar phrasing.
