Not the best topic title, but this problem doesn't really squeeze down well.
In my beatmap, I received some .wav files from a friend to use for skin sounds. For some reason he gave them to me as ".WAV" files. They worked perfectly when uploaded, downloaded, whatever, except that whenever I would go to submit the beatmap, osu would tell me I had unused files in the folder, naming the three .WAVs, and ask to delete them. I'd say no, and that would be that. Eventually on a hunch I renamed them from ".WAV" to ".wav" files and the messages stopped.
Probably low priority, but hey being thorough never hurts.
