Pc performance on osu

Hello! I'd like to know, since I'm getting a pc for the first time the fps (and latency if anyone known) with the following specs:

CPU: Intel Xeon 4-Cores E5-1620v3 3.60 GHz
GPU: RX 470 8GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 ECC
SSD: 512 GB
HDD: None

Laptop I have right now:

CPU: i5-4210M 2.60 GHz
GPU: HD Graphics 4600M
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
SSD: NONE
HDD: 480 GB

With the laptop I have right now, I pull anywhere from 600 (minimum) to 950 (max) however the average is between 600-750 fps with the input delay being anywhere from 1.7 ms to ~8 ms

also, would it be good enough to stream at 1080p 60 fps? (also record)

Intel Xeon isn't meant for gaming, try something like an Intel Core i7/i9 or an AMD processor.

i know, it's a server cpu however that's the config the prebuild is gonna come in, the pc would've costed roughly around 542,18 USD if i were to get it by pieces, and i found a site that makes prebuilds and the whole pc is relatively cheap, coming at 216,87 USD

I know you are new to this, but if you want to use Windows 11, the Intel Xeon isn't compatible with it. (on my knowledge)

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2370M with 4GB ram, can run lazer at a stable 60fps but nowhere higher

ah, a cheap sandy bridge xeon enjoyer

seeing that the cpu is a bit similar to the i7-2600, i think its enough to play osu at a comfortable fps (I play osu on an i5-2400 and its perfectly playable)

note that i do get frame drops when im in a discord call for some reason, but i just chalk that up to discord being a bloated POS

im not sure if recording nor streaming in 1080p60 is fine, but i managed to record some 720p60 osu vids w/ my RX 580's hardware encoder, you can probably do the same w/ your RX 470.

windows 11 is usable on pcs without tpm, you just have to do a little bit of configuring w/ the installer

also telling someone to get a new i7/i9 for gaming is overkill (esp since their original build is cheap and involves an old 2nd-gen intel cpu), if they're getting new an i5 is perfectly doable as long as their GPU is good (i3 is even fine if they're only playing non-intensive games)

Heavily depends on the game resolution -- 4K generally makes the hardware requirements 4x higher than 1080p

yeah true

4x the pixels, 4x the hardware juices needed

math is fun

regardless his setup is fine for playing osu @ 1080p since thats my native resolution

? i'm not new to pc building, I recommend parts to my friends, and idc about windows 11 either way, since my laptop can't support it either (i5-4210m + hd graphics 4600m)

you should be able to get better performance w/ your xeon since the 4210m is substantially less performant (with it being a mobile cpu and all)

idk how cpu-bound osu is but the gpu should also help

ahh that's great to hear, in theory if I optimize the pc just like I optimized my laptop, I should get max fps (999) (in theory)
