First I want to thank you very much for modding my map last night! (or probably day for you :P )

Fixed. Turns out what had happened was one was a 90 degree rotation of the other that looked very similar to a mirror image...

I don't like this, it hides 4 behind the slider and is confusing. I did however notice that 5 was a little misaligned and adjusted it a little.

I don't personally think it's boring, but anyway, I took a look at the map you suggested and I can see what you're referring to but I get the impression that the patterns he uses are more suitable in that map because the song is continuous. Mine has breaks in between and I feel that if I used those sort of patterns it'd be extremely confusing. I haven't changed it for now but if another modder complains about the same thing too, then I'll see if I can change it

Remember that the song is very long - almost 5 minutes. Most of the breaks (of which there are six) are 5 seconds or less (there are two that are about 10 seconds). At the points where there are breaks there is kind of a break in the song too, so it's a good place to have a break in my opinion. If it comes down to a submission rules issue then I guess I'd have to change it, but if it's just personal preference I'd rather not.

I feel like it's good preparation for the next part to have it fast, otherwise it might be too sudden. Again if other modders complain as well then I will change it, but for now I've left it

Yeah what you said is supposedly true (a silly rule in my opinion, since I wasn't completely abusing it like the cases they're obviously trying to stop, which could have been stopped by careful modding). I've added extra red points to the end to sort of "keep it slow" but it does, of course, look a lot uglier now.

In the case of the stacked sliders I've sort of unstacked them (like this: http://i.imgur.com/2Ahrx4G.png) so that it's obvious that there is another slider there. I'd also like to point out that the song is no easier to read with AR9 than it is with AR8 - perhaps (and I'm not trying to be rude here) you're just too used to playing AR9 maps? I modified the one that you called "this is why I hate AR8" slightly so that the central circle moves upwards making it both more readable and a bit more challenging. The other things that are "hard to read" that I haven't already mentioned (honestly they're really not that bad), I have left the same. I will not be increasing the settings to AR9 OD7.

As requested (implicitly?), I mod only Normal. (This is feeding my laziness o.o)

  1. Check distance snapping. Uneven snapping occurs a lot of times in the map. A particular section is 00:37:801 - 00:46:746. Of course this excludes objects with long time gaps.

I suggest you make a Hard because the difficulty jump between Normal and Insane is just too much.

- gonna need another difficulty. it's required to have at least 2 difficulties that are below insane diff, so make an easy or a hard and you'll be good

Not sure what happened here, for some reason (3) is able to snap to a place on the timeline where it shouldn't. I've fixed it now, good done for noticing it!

I think what you're getting at is them being not very smooth curves so I've made them smoother. I didn't personally have a problem with them before but maybe I just have bad taste :P so I changed them
