Playing osu! on a tablet? Already been done by lots of people. And yes, that's simply a huge, multi-touch tablet with some sort of epic program I need, here and now. <_<

I'd like to play Osu on one of these! I need to build one at some point.

On a related note, here's a video of Osu! being played on a regular tablet.

Whoa, I never knew such computers existed. I should get my hands on one of these someday.
The wiimote white board is a really cool concept too. I just wish I understood how all of these things work,lol.

Awesome fun ^^

I'm planning to make a better IR Pen and see if the concept is any good in practice with more people at it =)
Maybe I'll try do some Co-Ops or see if it can be used for competitions at some of the smaller J-events around.

Doubting that the Co-Op thing (with two pens) will work, though ;P

I think I should use this chance to unleash all of my ignorance on you. Please laugh.

Just how do tablets work, especially for osu!? Does the same content that's being shown on your monitor appear on it, and you then proceed to tap the hell out of it (just like a DS)? Or do you have to somehow move your real cursor as if it were a mouse, clicking things just like how a normal peasant plays?

You're talking about tablets in general, hmm?

It depends on the model, really. For most people, a Wacom tablet doesn't have a monitor on it, so it basically works as a nice mousepad to pen things up. xD

Actually most (if not all) tablets have settings where you can either choose to make it recognize your pen position as the position on the screen that way you can move the cursor by tapping elsewhere on the screen without draging your pen on the tablet, or you can make it work like a mouse where you need to drag the pen to move the cursor.
