from #modreqs
I should really try Deemo...if only my phone could handle it lol
black = suggestions
red = strongly recommend or unrankable[General]
- Your bg is 1365 x 768. It should be 1366 x 768 but not sure if that one pixel matters
- Combo color 7 is hard to see. Make it a little brighter?
[Insane]
Suggest HP7, there's not enough notes for HP8
- 00:03:403 (1) - suggest remove NC
- 00:04:153 (3) - suggest add NC
- 00:04:621 (1) - remove NC, its bad to start NC on blue tick
- 00:06:403 (1) - suggest remove NC
- 00:07:153 (3) - suggest add NC, etc...
- 00:07:621 (1) - remove NC
- 00:10:621 (1) - remove NC
- 00:27:778 (1,3) - better blanket
- 00:30:403 (4,5) - I feel flow should be smoother here, suggest you don't blanket to fix flow
- strong vocals at 00:33:403 and 00:33:778 that need something clickable imo. suggest following rhythm:
SPOILERhttp://puu.sh/jbLDG/018e60168a.jpg
- 00:35:653 - strong downbeat, needs something clickable
- 00:47:653 (4) - strong downbeat that should be emphasized with different direction change (and NC). Suggest you ctrl+g 00:46:715 (5,1,2,3,4,5) - and adjust positions.
- 00:48:590 (1) - remove NC
- 00:49:153 (5) - add NC
- 00:49:715 (1) - remove NC
- 00:52:528 (2,3,4,1) - needs bigger spacing to match song intensity imo
- 00:55:153 (4,5,1,2) - ^
- 00:57:403 (1,2,3,4) - ^ etc...
- 01:01:528 (2) - suggest you break up into two notes to emphasize vocals
- 01:19:153 - downbeats needs something clickable
- 01:19:715 - strong vocal sound ^
- 01:20:278 - ^
to fix, I recommend move this section 01:18:965 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - to start at 01:19:153 and add note at 01:18:965 - like below:
Wubs section: applies to all difficulties
huge spike in difficulty here, BNs might not be happy- 01:22:434 (2) - hard to follow such a curved slider with high SV
- 01:22:434 (2,3) - I don't think these big 1/4 jumps are appropriate on an insane diff (this part is more like an extra)
- 01:23:746 (1,2) - too many consecutive 1/4 notes for this diff
- 01:32:653 (1) - I like the hitsound here
Just a suggestion: maybe use some wiggle sliders to reduce difficulty? They're fun to play and capture the music style well. There's too many curved sliders here imo
Back to the map:02:00:403 (3,4,5,6,1) - this and similar patterns could use bigger spacing imo
[Hard]
1.8 SV too large (it's the same as your insane). Suggest you change to ~1.5
- 00:42:215 - feels like there should be a note here
- 00:43:153 - strong downbeat needs something clickable
- 01:10:153 to 01:19:153 -
please map this out since you did so in your insane also, RIP my HP drain bar with no break time- same issue as insane, there's a huge difficulty spike here. consider lowering SV and making sliders less curvy
- 01:54:215 - missing note?
- 02:06:965 - ^
[Normal]
Suggest OD4
- 00:05:653 (5) - NC
- 00:05:653 (5) -
map out- 01:22:153 - same comment. for normal definitely do not use 1.5 SV
- 01:25:153 - needs something clickable on downbeat
- 01:26:840 (4) - multiple repeats confusing for beginner players
- 01:30:403 (6) - ^
- 02:04:153 (1) - curve so end of 1 blankets 2
- 02:14:653 (1) -
careful, not enough recover time for beginner players (I think minimum 2 beats for normal diff). this can be an unrankable issue
[Easy]
1.1 SV too large (it's the same as your normal). Suggest you change to ~0.8
Also, suggest HP2, AR2, OD2
DS is also quite high (fixing SV should also fix this). General rule of thumb for choosing DS in easy is that notes 1 beat apart should be as close as possible to each other without actually touching
- 00:31:153 (4) - NC
- 00:32:653 (6,1) - unnecessary overlap
- 00:38:653 (6,1) - can you move slightly so they don't touch?
- 00:43:153 (5,7) - NC
- 00:43:153 (5,7) - difficult for beginners to read stacks
- 00:44:653 (7,2) - don't overlap
- 00:47:653 (3,4) - blanket
- 01:02:653 (5,6,1) - fix blanket and avoid overlap
- 01:10:340 -
map out- 01:50:653 (6,1) - avoid overlap
- 02:16:715 (1) -
not enough recovery time. this is definitely unrankable (easy diffs need 4 beats of recovery time)
Sorry I have no idea how to mod taiko.
Hope that helps and PM if you have any questions about my mod!
