I had DDRMAX a long time ago so... It was my 1st fav ever.

I like Project DIVA, since I'm a really big fan of Vocaloid. But I heard about some of the other games and they seem really fun.

Geometry dash player here, but I've also played a little bit of bang dream, soundodger+, and super hexagon. Anyway thanks for this thread, lots of great suggestions that I'll check out.
imma have to say dj max respect, that game goes above and beyond with its song list and its amazing its got 147 songs default and multiple dlc packs that add 20 or so songs ive played it for hours on end and its become one of my all time favorite rhythm games

Honestly, it's a tie between GrooveCoaster and MUSECA. I haven't had the chance to play CHUUNITHM, but if I did then it would definitely be that. I haven't had a good experience with Taiko no Tatsujin, mainly because the cabinet that I played on was outdated and had unresponsive dons and katsus.
For me it's Project Diva and VOEZ for switch. Altough I don't play them much anymore they still have a special place in my heart
