How to you add more hits to it?
Jason X
I know what a drumroll is, but what is a swell?

The amount of hits for a drumroll is determined by the BPM, as the drumroll is fixed to a certain hitcount (the snap divisor)
Below 125bpm: 1/8 snapping
125 - 250 1/4 snapping
250 and above: 1/2 snapping

For example, at 145 BPM this, drumroll has 9 hits from start to end

The only change in hits you can do is setting the Slider Tick Rate to 3, which snapps the drumroll to the 1/3 snap divisior.

No other way to manipulate the drumroll hits I'm afraid.

If by "swell" you mean a spinner (Dendens/Shaker)
The amount of hits depends on the leght of the spinner, and the Overal Difficulty setting.

I see, thank you! seems like shakers are quite limited to compose.. compared to other rhythm games which you can edit how many times it should be hit
