ERA is a competitive rhythm gaming team that is focused on bringing rhythm gaming to the esports light and world alongside like-minded individuals to help push this goal into reality. We strive to be the home of all kinds of players, both new and old, and we want to be able to teach the future generations to come. We welcome any and all rhythm game players onto the team, as there are no prior requirements to be able to join ERA, and there are no entry exams. We have been established for over two years, and have amassed a total of 43 members as of this dated post. We offer a mature, safe environment for those looking to be in that kind of environment and promoting individual growth along with the team.
ERA was originally created back in 2016 and was originally a Fighting Game team, localized within the EU region and featured some of the strongest players that region had seen. In 2021, Zenith gained permission to expand the team into rhythm gaming, and thus the ERA Rhythm Gaming Team was born. The ERA Rhythm Gaming Team has players and people from all corners of the world.
Our goals include being able to provide a home to rhythm gamers looking to take themselves and their skills to the next level, providing a team of like-minded individuals to take your own goals into fruition and help you achieve what you'd like to get done, a place where players can compete with players of similar skill for perks and prizes, a learning facility for those looking to get involved with the back end of their game and content creation (tournaments, events, staffing, etc), and lastly, a place to share our ever-burning passion for rhythm gaming! Our long term goals include becoming successful enough to adorn sponsorships and to provide our games/communities a growing competitive environment as well as a library of any resource they can use during their rhythm gaming journey.
The acceptance process can be a lengthy one, however this section will hopefully give you enough insight to better understand what could take extra time. We begin by setting up an application form that everyone can fill out to give us the most information they can about themselves which sets them up better for the next step, which is the interview process. After the applications have been closed, there is a smaller team within ERA dedicated to this process, and one of those members will reach out to you to conduct an interview which discusses yourself and your application. This interview can be done in a call or via text, which you can request with your interviewer, but the default is text-only. After your interview has concluded, we ask you to wait patiently as we finish the rest of the applicants and their interviews. Once both of these processes has concluded, we then regroup the team to make our deliberations (The entire team makes a uniformed decision). Once those decisions are made, we then contact everyone that was involved with this process to let them know their outcome.
