For simply taking detour from your ISP and accessing blocked contents, free ProtonVPN plan would do

opera gx vpn only affects the browser, not the game.

i guess just a standard vpn would probably be alright, vpn's like Nord, Surfshark or PIA vpn should work enough.

Simply changing the DNS provider works in my country. Maybe give it a shot!

Free Proton plan is great, though if you're trying to hide your IP for whatever reason there are still ways for people to get to it (or so I've been told). I'm not sure why you need a VPN for osu! though.
If you've got money, paid VPN's work best.

i don't really use VPN but i've heard that ExpressVPN is currently the best one

I use HaloVPN on my phone and Cloudflare WARP on my pc

Both are great, but I would really recommend Cloudflare, it's effective and reliable, plus, it comes from Cloudflare which is not some random corp on the play store and similar

ProtonVPN's free tier is quite decent. You're not missing out on features compared to their paid plan like security or bandwidth caps. Paid plan just gives you more options for less congested servers.

Cloudflare WARP is also decent. While it does hide your IP, if you're trying to spoof your location, WARP doesn't let you choose as far as I'm aware; it just routes you to the nearest server.

Depends on your purpose. All are good for getting content from other countries, all suck when it comes to privacy.

Yeah, no. Don't do that, unless you're okay with a Chinese owned company knowing where you go online and also being blocked on a Chromium browser with a lot of bloat and shit in it.

Mullvad is probably better in regards to privacy or at least more transparent. You are still trusting someone to open pages for you over the internet.

Opera is a good vpn
Neigdoig
None of the recommendations are good for keeping your privacy, since you will be found anyway. The best VPN services to use are Proton VPN (as mentioned earlier in the thread), IVPN or Mullvad. Look up why, and you'll thank me later.

I used TurboVPN Both Laptop and phone

Proton is in Switzerland, which makes it not in 14-eyes either, unless I got wrong information.

That seems true, but I imagine they have to have information sharing with as-popular as they are. Proton is the go-to provider for privacy, which I'm sure encourages more people to use them for nefarious purposes.

Apparently they do still share information with other countries without a disclosed agreement: https://tuta.com/blog/posts/fourteen-eyes-countries

Although Iceland or Switzerland claim to be outside the reach of the Fourteen Eyes countries, both of these countries’ law enforcement agencies cooperate regularly with Europol requests which makes their services just as prone to turning over user information as any service based inside of the Fourteen Eyes.
Romania seemingly has less-interest in sharing information: https://youronlinechoices.com.au/5-eyes-9-eyes-14-eyes-countries/

  1. Romania is not part of the Eyes alliance
  2. Romania refuses to submit to EU data retention laws
  3. The internet in Romania is largely unrestricted
  4. VPNs are legal in Romania
Those are just some blurbs from some websites, but I can imagine a smaller VPN provider in Romania being a little more locked or less-speedy about sharing usage information, vs the largest-known privacy company with several services and some for free.
Neigdoig
There was a climate activist using Proton for nefarious purposes, but if they said that if it was being used with a VPN, the individual wouldn't have been identified. The company wasn't compromised, but had to follow Swiss and Europol orders from what I had looked into.
