  14. 03:22:277 (5,1) - what the hell. why did you place this jump for a calm part that has absolutely nothing jumpy in the music? Why? It's unneeded and unwelcome
  15. 03:33:273 (1,2,1,2) - make them sound more quiet and gradually increase the volume, following the singer
This is a jump spam, basically. You also have to repair most of your new combos in order to follow the music:
Combos in the most basic sense divide the hit circles of a beatmap so that they are easier to read. Combos are usually placed to either match the vocal/musical phrases or to indicate the downbeat of each measure. In special cases, combos are used in indicating any discrepancies in spacing or slider velocity
If your pattern does not follow the timing signature or blatantly ignores a downbeatm and you have to adjust your combos based on patterns, this means you need to destroy, or alter, or remap the pattern, as it doesn't follow music. Random examples (you can find the rest yourself):
  1. 03:09:591 (4) - should have NC
  2. 03:19:740 (3) - should have NC
  3. 03:23:123 (4) - ^

  1. 00:12:399 - mind adding a note here to not lose the drum beat and guitar from the music?
  2. 00:18:108 (3,4) and so on - drum whisthes could fit the music if they haven't had so awkward dull metallic sound. It's up to you to keep them or not, but I personally do think that they don't go well with the background guitar and all and that even soft whistles are better. I won't mention it anymore
  3. 00:34:178 (1) - start it right after the note because guitar starts at 00:33:966, don't keep the gap inbetween
  4. 01:28:731 (3) - un-bend it a little
  5. 01:51:778 (1) - how about you add a little curve here to match 01:50:721 (9,11)
  6. 02:01:928 (1) - I like how you switch between normal and soft additions as vocals change
  7. 02:22:227 (7) - unstack for a better movement
Everything else is fine? I guess you could add a kiai fountain at least at 04:15:350 for more epicness.

Возможно, тебе захочется (но не захотелось) добавить хотя бы фонтанчик в той же манере, в какой я посоветовал Широ, ну да ладно.

To be honest, I don't feel like modding Easy at all, and I know I'll have no mood to edit it in my mod later, so I just leave it as that and hope it isn't this bad and awful (my mod, that is). Cheers!

    Not really sure why not grayish colours, I have used them quite frequently, and some people have commented something about red and yellow being too bright, but I honestly think that precisely because its too bright, its easier to see those objects, thus improving the game play.

Me encantan los mapas que no tienen necesidad de blankets como este *¬*
  1. Aunque el flow no es tan fluido en algunas partes (por ejemplo 01:21:753 (2,1) - ) , el patron se repite tantas veces, y la velocidad es tan lenta, que creo que no hay problema :P
  2. No estoy deacuerdo con el espaciado de la parte lenta. Allí multiplicas por 0.66x en el SV, así que el espaciado a 1.3 quedaría como un 0.85x si se tomara respecto al SV anterior (1.3*0.66=0.85x).
    De ahí, que todo quede tan junto, y aunque el SV si queda bien para es a parte lenta, el espaciado lo siento mal.

    Mi recomendación es que espacies toda esa parte a 1.6x (así quedaría 1.6*0.66= 1.05x). Como todo quedará un poco más alejado, se parecerá un poco más al espaciado anterior, sin dejar de ser más lento.

Primero que nada, un replay con HR. Como hace tanto que no juego bien, y aun no me acostumbro del todo a la tableta, supongo que soy un buen tester para este hard xD

  1. 00:21:596 (12,13) - Realmente me gustaría que hicieras un slider de estos dos. En toda esa sección no hay dobles.. solo este... y de por sí es dificil de leer en AR7.. incluso en HR casi no lo hago. De verdad creo que el slider es más sensato :)
  2. 00:30:054 (8,9) - me gustaría sugerirte mejor este patron
    me parece más legible. Lo unico malo es que entre ellos esta espaciado a 1.0x (aunque entre (9,10) sí queda a 1.3x).
  3. 01:06:106 (8) - probablemente te opongas, pero, yo usaría el NC en el siguiente slider... solo por legibilidad.
  4. 01:54:527 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - nothing xD

    03:45:959 (5,6,7,1) - rotar -10 grados (quizas incluso sin los dos ultimos, si ves que no te gusta).
    Así los dobles mantienen una inclinación un poco más cercana al camino del flow.
  8. 04:15:139 (1,2) - mm.. por qué cambiar el DS? yo preferiría que lo dejaras como en todo el mapa :P

The point of these two notes is to turn the 1/2 vocals into triples to emphasize them compared to the more spaced ones !

  12. Overall, very nice Easy! I like how you break the flow a little when you want to emphasize beats, that's good. It's not the mainstream wonderful smooth flow that you see in every second map :3 It's cool that you made it harder at the end of the diff, but only when you change the OD as I mentioned in my mod.

This is relatively unmappable for a Normal diff, so I highly recommend you to apply something simple like at the Hard or Easy diff, because your current rhythm really sounds weird.
  2. 00:10:073 - If you didn't fix the above point, which I don't hope, then you should atleast add a note here. The 3/2-gap you created here feels very unintuitive.
  3. 00:24:451 (5) - This is a must-fix. It sounds really awkward.   4. 00:33:966 (3) - This object marks the beginning of a new section in the song and should definitely have NC.

  7. 00:49:190 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Sounds a bit empty hitsound-wise, so a clap at 00:49:613 (3) would fit well.
  8. 00:50:882 (1,2) - It is really strange that you didn't map those beats 00:51:516 + 00:53:208, since the vocals are very emphasized there! And since you tried to follow vocals with these sldiers (otherwise they wouldn't make much sense), it should definitely be changed.   9. 01:09:912 (5) - You've been mainly following vocals with sliders in this section, so this long one sounds very strange.   10. 01:22:176 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Why did you spam claps in this combo? It seems really random and doesn't sound good. Try to make your hitsounding consistent with the other combos in this section.

  12. 01:47:128 (5) - I think you forgot a clap at the end. Same here 01:52:414 (2)
  13. 01:53:470 (3,4) - These might be a problem. Their heads are pretty close to each other, so they might be difficult to read for newbies.   24. It has much potential, but overall, this diff needs much work. Much of the rhythm is not really acceptable / fitting the song. It would've been better not to map blue ticks in this song, as they sometimes make it more complicated than it should be and you are missing other important beats. Often you used long sliders for no real reason, and left out very important beats with them. Another problem is the NCing, as your combos were often too long, but that can be easily fixed. Some of your transitions weren't the best either, but I didn't point everything out because the mod was already very long. Try fixing most of these issues and your difficulty will be really great, for sure!


  • Hard
  1. I'm a bit worried about the difficulty gap between Hard and the two Insanes, as both Insane are pretty jumpy and this Hard doesn't contain any jumps. In fact, your jumps in the Insane diff are so huge, so I'd have expected atleast some simple sliderjumps in the Hard diff as well. You should really consider to implement some, if you want to improve the spread. Nothing major though, I think.
  2. 00:18:742 (1,2) - Here you started so nicely with 1,0x 1/4-spacing, but then starting at 00:20:434 you used 1,3x for 1/4. Such high 1/4-spacing can play really uncomfortable, especially in a Hard diff. Again, it's nothing you have to change, as it would also mean to rearrange many patterns, but you could try to make it consistent atleast.
  3. 01:02:300 (1,2,3,4) - The movement in this pattern feels a bit cramped. After this transition 01:01:666 (5,1), you wouldn't expect to move to the right like this to reach 01:02:723 (2) and after that you even have to move backwards to get to 01:03:146 (3). I can't explain this well, but try to make something more dynamic.
  4. 01:49:030 (2,3,4,5) - Don't use stacks like this in Hard diffs. It will likely confuse players that a 1/4-triplet is stacked again on a 1/2-circle. Moving them apart would also play much better :)
  5. 01:52:413 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - You know how cruel extensive 1/2-tapping like this can be for Hard players? :D It's not a must-fix, but I'd atleast include some sliders.
  6. Overall, great Hard! The flow is flawless, as well as the rhythm! Except the high 1/4-spacing I'm fully satisfied :b

I can see it coming that many people will complain again (like with your Xanandra map), for example that the jumps are too huge and not really fitting the music, or it has too much 1/4, or that the flow is bad or something like that. Please, don't listen to that shit and rank it with this style!

Overall, really enjoyable mapset! I feel that Hard and the two Insanes are almost ready, Easy follows. The Normal needs some more work though, but I already mentioned that in my little review at the end.

    Yay, finally someone understands me, and to defend more this pattern, you could see this as a stream, and yet some people no matter what will always get some 100s unless you have completely mastered it, so this kind of pattern its fine for an insane.

It has much potential, but overall, this diff needs much work. Much of the rhythm is not really acceptable / fitting the song. It would've been better not to map blue ticks in this song, as they sometimes make it more complicated than it should be and you are missing other important beats. i don't really see how this rhythm is wrong :o
The rhythm in the beginning section is wrong because you are missing out so many emphasized beats and you are mapping to ones that aren't really important instead. This section has constant 1/4-rhythm, so you could argue that you could just map on random beats, but that's not correct, or is it? The only emphasized beats often lie on blue ticks and that's why it's rather impossible to create a good rhythm for a Normal diff there. Xanandra also seemed to realized that or he wouldn't have mapped his Hard like that.

No, this measure 00:32:275 is just a transition to the following one. 00:33:966 Here starts the new small section, so a NC should be there, and here 00:37:349 as well. This is important, because this second combo is way too long with 10. I know that small combos don't look good but remember this is a Normal diff. Long combos like that, with many circles, mean that the player will fail when missing some of them in a row.

[Insane]
- 00:05:527 (2,3,4) - The placement of the notes after this slider is bothering me a bit. IMO a better way of placing them would be something similar to http://puu.sh/aJIpp/b236d4ae75.jpg
- 01:07:798 -> 01:11:181 - IMO this section isn't very intuitive. You have nearly constant 1/4s here, but after this part (when the music actually increases in intensity and build up) you omit them. The note density actually decreases up until 01:21:330. Shouldn't it be backwards where you build up from 1/2s to small 1/4s up until you start going for streams?
- 01:19:639 (3,4) - The flow of these two sliders are bad. Maybe make (4) face the other direction?
- 02:08:694 (1,2,3,4) - The decelerated spacing plays oddly IMO. (1,2) has more space than (2,3). Make them even?

Quick overview (Insane and Shiro's Insane)
This is not a mod, so no KD

Some hitsounds have a significant delay before their perceived beat (~10 ms for some). The smaller the better, try editing them with Audacity to fix any lead-in issues.
Many moments where the timing is 15 ms late. Try -7 to offset to try and even out the variance (-7, +8).

[Insane]
00:05:209 (1,2) - Immediately confused by the rhythm. First there is no audio-leadin to the first circle so it's 100/50 galore, then 3/4 beat spacing to the next note which is inherently confusing (players are used to multiples of 1/2 and 1/4. 3/4 of a beat between notes has and always will be confusing.
00:40:732 - First part of the music with the vocalist and it's a break. There's no reason to have a break right where the song effectively begins its main part. Nobody is tired after 40 seconds either.
02:22:227 - Mid-stream inconsistencies with the sliders, for example, 02:22:227 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - is way different to 02:25:610 (3,4,5,6,7,1,2) - , even though they are equivalent things in the music. This makes the stream hard to read and comprehend since it changes randomly.
02:39:142 (1,2,3) - Unexpected 3/4. Very very easy to hit the 2 quickly, since it looks like it is going to be 1/2.
02:47:600 (1,2,3,4) - It's even more frustrating to read when stacked.
Slow part is good, nice 1/2 sliders for piano emphasis.
03:41:308 (9,1,2,3) - These are really painful anti-flow jumps. This is pretty much the entire map, though. I guess it might be good jump practice for people.
03:45:114 (2,3,4,5,6) - These are really far away from each other, so they don't look like stream jumps.
04:03:721 (1) - Extremely unexpected that these have two repeats, as the rhythms implied by 04:02:664 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - before it suggest the last blue tick is skipped. Also the sliderstreamjumps caused by the holds are super mega painful.
