I just wanted to know if I could have 2 different maps (like when you download an Osu map, it has multiple difficulties) but with different audio. To sum it up, I'm basically asking if two maps with different audio can be linked together and posted together. I want to be able to know how because I am trying to make a beatmap of a song, with a cut meme difficulty of the song but I can't find a way to combine both of the maps under the same folder. I know that it's possible to change the audio of the map to a different audio (I've changed the audio of beatmaps before). Still, I don't know if it's possible to have 2 different audios.

each difficulty has .osu file(s) and a mp3 in the folder of the map. you'll need to put the audio file that you want in the folder.

in the difficulty that you want to put it in, you'll need to put it in the map folder and open the difficulty's .osu file. (file -> open .osu in notepad) and change "AudioFilename: audio.mp3" to something else

for example if the audio file you wanted to put in was named "soap" and is a mp3 file you would put it as "AudioFilename: soap.mp3"

I tried that, but the audio of the map didn't end up changing, however it did stop saying that there was a problem with the audio which is a step forward.

Edit: I did some stuff to change the names of the map and all the other details, and it switched the main audio to the other map, and the second audio doesn't work. I don't know if I messed it up, but I will re-do this and try to fix it.

Edit 2: So it ended up like the first time, where the audio didn't end up changing, and it said that "there was a problem opening this file" so I don't know what to do.

Assuming you follow everything as instructed, sounds like a case of your audio file being corrupted.

Can you export and upload said map to some other file hosting site so we can inspect what's going on?
