New style spinner, static background

Hi!

As I understand, there are two types of spinners, the old and the new one.
I wanna use the new one, but can't figure out how to add a static background to it.
From this spreadsheet, it seems like a static background can only be added to an old style spinner :(

My background has to be static, don't need it rotating. Can it be done with a new style spinner?

You can't. The game will force you to use the old style spinner the moment you put a spinner background.

Best use some workaround for this, but considering how much layers there are in v2 spinners I personally don't wanna go through such hassles.

Ugh... they should add a static background option too :(
I'll try to use the spinner-middle.png and experiment with its opacity... it's gonna look weird but oh well.

upd: you know what... making the image half-transparent actually worked for me :D I see the other two layers rotating and the background image static. At least, for my case it is solved.
