So, I've always had an issue with aiming (when I played with a mouse it was because of mouse drift), so like 2 years ago I switched to tablet and my raw aim got better but my aim consistency got worse. I then took a 2 year hiatus for no specific reason, and I have returned to playing for the last week or so. I think I have nearly de-rusted, but I still have the same issues I was having before i quit. Basically, the main issue i have is that, even at the start of a map, not even under the influence of any nerves, i'll just randomly miss simple patterns by undershooting them or something (like i'll do some jumps and then when i have to aim a slider i'll overshoot/undershoot it by like an entire inch). I also sometimes feel like i have "blind spots" in my aiming, such as the top left corner and bottom right corner of the play-field. I can't help but feel like my grip varies throughout the map so i have to move my pen more in certain areas, causing my aim to feel super inconsistent (and inevitably leading to a frustrating miss). I recently put some grip tape on my pen, which slightly alleviated the issue (mainly with my grip becoming uncomfortable as a map progresses, which is still sort of an issue) but it didn't get rid of it entirely. It's really frustrating because there are maps that i should be able to fc but i can't because of seemingly random misses. that's why my top plays are entirely like 2-3 minute long burst maps because my aim is just too random for anything else. Has anyone else had a similar experience? my area is 67.5x40mm. Thanks in advance.
