09:21:352 - The offset for this timing section is really off, try 561380 for offset.
AR8.5 would work better, your map isn't too jumpy to deserve AR9, and you have some slow songs where AR9 doesn't fit too much.

00:07:886 (4) - This would play better as two circles, like in 00:07:343 (1,2), as the music isn't too different.
00:17:560 (2) - I'd suggest to end this in 00:18:213, as the beat is stronger there.
00:18:756 (6) - Also I'd suggest to remove this note so the 1/8 slider have more emphasis.
00:25:821 (4,5) - How about adding a 1/4 slider here with a repeat, I feel weird having the sound in 00:25:930 ignored as it's played by the same instrument.
00:29:734 (1,2,3) - Sometimes is not good mapping symmetry if you're not following the song nicely, try following the vocals here, the three sliders feel a bit random.

00:43:647 (1,1) - I'd suggest to have the two sliders of 1/2, the 3/4 doesn't compliment the song too nice as 00:44:734 (1) is passing over the vocals in 00:44:952.
00:47:126 (3,4) - Here too.
00:48:865 (1) - ^
00:54:082 (1,2) - ^
01:31:039 (5) - ^
01:39:300 (3,4) - ^
01:45:386 (3) - Remove this note and extend 01:44:952 (2), the 3/4 feel a bit weird there, where the 1/1 slider could cover nicely that sound you're following.
01:45:821 (1) - Do it a 1/2 slider, it's passing over vocals.
01:46:691 (3,4) - How about putting first the circle and then the slider, it'd make more sense for vocals, don't forget to fix hitsounds.
02:08:430 (4) - You could remove a repeat here and add a circle in 02:08:865, so you have only triples for this rhythm, which would be a nice touch for consistency, don't forget the NC if you do.
03:04:082 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - You could rotate this by 7° counterclockwise so this polygon is symmetrical to the horizontal axis.
03:07:560 (1) - If you do what I said above, probably you'd need to change this slider too.
03:09:734 (3,1) - Delete the circle and extend the slider there, it'd fit better with vocals imo. You'd need to make 03:11:473 (3) have not a 3/4 rhythm.
04:19:331 - A note would be nice here.
04:50:203 (3) - How about moving this 1/4 beat back? it'd fit nicely with vocals, not too needed tho.
04:52:233 (3) - ^
05:22:233 - You could use a rhythm like this if you want to follow vocals better.
05:29:339 (7,1) - It'd be nice if you keep your spacing here, I find it a bit weird.

05:37:374 (5,6) - It'd be nice if you could avoid this overlap.
06:11:846 (2) - A more symmetrical slider would look nicer here.
340,220,371845,2,0,P|256:172|172:220,1,200,0|8,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:
06:13:337 (6,1,2,3,4) - This feels a bit weird, as the music is quite intense but we have this kind of antijumps, try a jumpy pattern here? You could remove 06:13:243 (5) to get more freedom.
06:41:100 (2) - Sam10:14:741 (4,5) - e slider as the previous one.
:!: 07:09:982 (2) - This reverse arrow is being covered by the hitburst of 07:09:423 (7).
07:25:448 (4) - Use a 1/2 slider here, there's literally no sound in the blue tick there x.x
07:31:224 (4) - This feels a bit weird, how about doing it a 1/1 slider and then adding a note in 07:32:156 stacked to 07:32:342 (6)?
07:35:323 (4) - A single circle would be the correct here, as there's no 1/4 rhythm after that beat.
08:05:696 (4) - Either a 1/1 or 1/2 slider would work better here imo.
08:35:510 (2) - Try putting this note 1/2 beat forward, as this increasing sound ends there.
08:48:926 (3) - Use a 1/2 slider here.
08:59:733 (5,6) - You should add some finishes or something to emphasize these two notes more.
09:42:991 (2) - This slider looks a bit bad, maybe make it a bit less spiky, like this: http://puu.sh/aNrAj.png
09:49:507 (6) - Remove?
09:54:822 - 10:06:625 - Here you could create an interesting rhythm by following only the guitar, dunno what you think, it'd be nice imo (though it'd break a bit your hitsounding).
10:07:118 (5) - NC?
10:14:741 (4,5) - Maybe put first the 1/2 slider and then the 1/1 slider? it'd follow vocals better imo.
10:20:519 (2,5) - Remove?
10:28:265 - 10:34:166 - The rhythm here is mostly 3/4 here, like this, you could use different objects as you feel better tho.

10:36:380 (3) - Remove? it'd emphasize better the vocals.
11:30:078 (2) - Remove it and put a circle in 11:30:203, it'd follow better the song.
11:31:828 (6,7) - Remove (7) and extend the slider there.
11:35:453 (1) - 1/2 slider
11:35:953 (2,3) - Remove (3) and extend the slider there.
11:42:953 (3,4) - Use a 3/4 slider with a repeat instead?
11:42:953 (3,4) - 1/2 slider.
11:56:953 (5) - ^
12:12:453 (3,4) - Maybe remove (3) and extend the slider there.
12:44:703 (3,4) - 1/4 + 3/4 slider fits better here.
12:58:953 (5,6) - Maybe remove (6) and extend the slider there.
13:32:759 (4) - 1/2 slider?
13:41:230 (1,2) - Remove (2) and extend the slider there.
13:42:642 (4,1) - 1/2 slider, there are stronger beats there.
13:56:759 (4) - This slider isn't symmetryc, I fixed it for you
464,216,836759,2,0,B|404:152|312:168|272:240|256:276|256:276|240:240|200:168|108:152|48:216,1,519.99997619629,2|4,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:
14:15:642 - Add a note here?
14:39:112 (3) - 1/2 slider
14:40:524 (7) - ^
15:22:347 (2) - This should be snapped in 1/3.

Well, I basically ranted about some extended (3/4) sliders and some weird rhythm, I see no more issues on it besides that.
Another timing check wouldn't hurt here, feel free to poke me back when you feel ready to move this forward. And I really apologize for being so late, but better late than never, right?

Good luck o/

Hi m4m request

00:25:604 (1,2,3) - replace these with a reverse slider and change 00:25:821 (4) - to stream?
00:38:865 (4) - delete this and add notes at 00:38:756 & 00:38:973 ?
00:49:300 (2) - end at 00:49:517 and add a note at 00:49:626 ?
02:30:386 (3) - replace it by a triple?
03:05:821 (1) - remove the clap on the tail?

03:35:799 (1) - replace it by a triple?
03:37:881 (4) - Maybe it's better not to miss this beat
03:55:381 (2) - end at 03:56:006 and add a note at 03:56:215 (4) -
04:12:048 (1) - move the 4th white dot to (-48,200)

04:53:925 (2) - add a note?
05:32:158 (4,5) - fix the blanket

06:56:945 (6) - blanket with (4)?
06:59:181 (2) - 06:59:926 (4) - 07:00:299 (5) - add notes to emphasize the downbeat?

07:07:006 (4) - I prefer this to be a single circle, and slider(5) start at 07:07:192 end at 07:07:751 with slower sv

11:26:453 (4,5) - 1/3 beat here
11:37:119 (4) - I think it's not snapped to 1/3

13:05:578 (8,9) - swap these two note?

00:25:604 (1,2,3) - I prefer mine
00:38:865 (4) - I don't hear any sound on those 1/4s you suggested
00:49:300 (2) - I love the 3/4 slider there
02:30:386 (3) - ok
03:05:821 (1) - imo this one emphasize the sound followed by another clap here 03:06:691 (3) -
03:35:799 (1) - slow song, imo don't need to change to triplet there
03:37:881 (4) - ok changed
03:55:381 (2) - ^
04:12:048 (1) - ok, nicer now
04:53:925 (2) - sounds crowded
05:32:158 (4,5) - this one is on purpose not blanket
06:56:945 (6) - ok
06:59:181 (2) - 06:59:926 (4) - 07:00:299 (5) - I prefer no, since there's also the same style like this on different part
07:07:006 (4) - ok
11:26:453 (4,5) - I'm not sure here, still confused where to put
11:37:119 (4) - ^
13:05:578 (8,9) - ok

marathon map? fuck yeah :)

I'll mod it tomorrow, but I've looked at the map and there's a few things I wanna check first:

[Marathon]
  1. 05:22:233 ~ 05:36:106 - timing here feels really early to me, I was playing it and I suddenly hit 10ms late starting from here. I think it'd be good to get some ppl to check the timing on this.
  2. no kiai? I think for a long map such as this, it'd be nice to have kiai so it's not a straight 15 minutes with the same setting.
  3. 05:36:278 - imo the transition here was really abrupt. it's only a small pause in between songs and the change in BPM here was huge. I realize this would be a loooot of effort to fix, but I think it'd feel a lot better if you could make a larger distance in between the 2 songs; I think it'd also be more fun bc u ended this part of the map right where the chorus of the song is, and this way u could map it (since seems u didn't map the chorus before).
  4. 14:37:688 - don't get why not 1.3x in chorus here, since u used it before. it'd be better to keep it consistent (regardless if u choose to use 1.0x or 1.3x here) imo.
  5. how about silent soft-sliderside in the soft songs? imo it'd feel a lot more natural, songs 2 and 7 are quiet enough I can hear it and it feels out of place to me.

all of these (except timing) are suggestions, so don't feel obligated take any of them. let me know what you think then I'll mod it :D

  2. no kiai? I think for a long map such as this, it'd be nice to have kiai so it's not a straight 15 minutes with the same setting. people are asking this like many times, lol - I didn't add kiai because there are some song that I took only bits of verse, and lots of refrain part, so there will be part that has lots of kiai... (well if this is a must, then I'll add kiai)
  3. 05:36:278 - imo the transition here was really abrupt. it's only a small pause in between songs and the change in BPM here was huge. I realize this would be a loooot of effort to fix, but I think it'd feel a lot better if you could make a larger distance in between the 2 songs; I think it'd also be more fun bc u ended this part of the map right where the chorus of the song is, and this way u could map it (since seems u didn't map the chorus before).I can't make the gap longer, since this is medley. - a spinner here 05:34:865 - ~ 05:36:278 - is far worse imo, so I did a slider there
  4. 14:37:688 - don't get why not 1.3x in chorus here, since u used it before. it'd be better to keep it consistent (regardless if u choose to use 1.0x or 1.3x here) imo. eh, I didn't use 1.3 as a standard here, 1.3x+ are jumps and not all of the jumps are consistent here
  5. how about silent soft-sliderside in the soft songs? imo it'd feel a lot more natural, songs 2 and 7 are quiet enough I can hear it and it feels out of place to me. I've checked the soft part, they're using defaults, so should I move them to custom, and add the defaults?

Setsurei wrote:

  1. eh, I didn't use 1.3 as a standard here, 1.3x+ are jumps and not all of the jumps are consistent here sry if I wasn't clear - this chorus 13:29:924 ~ 13:58:159 uses 1.3x SV but this chorus 14:35:571 ~ 14:57:453 - uses 1.0x SV. imo it'd be better to keep consistency between the 2.
  2. I've checked the soft part, they're using defaults, so should I move them to custom, and add the defaults? it looks like u already have a silent soft-sliderslide in the folder. the 2nd song uses standard drum hitsounds, so C/P soft-sliderslide9 to drum-sliderslide9 and set the timing points at the 2nd song to use D:C9.

imo silent sliderslide would fit the 7th song too, if you agree you'll have to basically make a new set of hitsounds that's the same as C1 except with silent sliderslide added, and set the 7th song's timing points which use C1 to that instead.

again just a suggestion, I don't want to force it or anything. if anything isn't clear let me know

  1. sry if I wasn't clear - this chorus 13:29:924 ~ 13:58:159 uses 1.3x SV but this chorus 14:35:571 ~ 14:57:453 - uses 1.0x SV. imo it'd be better to keep consistency between the 2. I'll preserve this 1.0x, because 1.3x gap is quite far

00:25:604 (1,2,3,4) - this was confusing for me bc the spacing makes it seem like a 1/4 (not 1/6) stream. imo use a closer spacing like this

would feel a lot better for stream like this. (if you agree, you'll have to rearrange the notes after bc spacing)
00:29:734 (1,3) - imo normal-hit isn't enough to emphasize this part- you make a jump here but i can hardly hear the hitsound @_@ imo standard soft-whistle fits a lot better here.
00:55:821 (1) - remove clap? imo no need to put a clap here.
01:20:386 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - imo jump here would fit well (and also more consistent with 02:08:865 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - )
01:47:126 - normal-slidertick here? seems you use cymbals on 1/2s for this part, but this one isn't
02:43:213 - how about add whistle here, 02:43:647 - , and 02:44:952 - ? imo feels a lot better here to keep the rhythm going.

03:26:631 (7) - blanket fix http://puu.sh/eFZiH/11c8787cc1.jpg

03:24:131 (7) - x196 y56? feel more natural than back-and-forth pattern imo
03:41:215 (1) - missing hit-normal here

05:30:918 - add note?

05:48:946 (1) - NC here for spacing change
07:01:603 (1) - remove NC? not necessary to have combo with 1 note here imo.
07:52:463 (5) - ctrl+G to keep curve?
08:53:569 (1) - imo add NC here to differentiate between pattern
08:55:060 (1,2) - switch NCs for pattern?
09:14:622 (1,2,3,4,5) - imo this pattern was a lot less fun than its counterparts (07:01:976 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 08:20:967 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - ) which were really cool because of the way they flowed with the vocal. i think it'd be better if you made a pattern more similar to that.

there might be a different way, that's just one example. anyway just a suggestion

10:14:968 - any reason different hitsound here?
10:22:100 (5) - imo clap here sounds really out of place... given you're using clap on slidertick before, i think it'd be better if you removed claps here and added clap at 10:22:837 -
10:57:878 - add note (stack on tail of 10:56:771 (5) - )? fits instrument in background, and current spacing to 10:58:124 (1) - is confusing bc it feels like a 1/2.

11:42:953 (3) - how about this rhythm instead, then add whistle on (4)? emphasize beat better imo

11:58:203 (7) - this rhythm instead, then add clap at 11:58:453 - ?

12:45:953 (1,2,3) - imo this rhythm is better here to emphasize the beat:

12:54:078 (2) - this plays really bad imo; since most of the sliders have 1 repeat, putting a slider with 3 repeats makes the rhythm really awkward. imo smth like this

would feel a lot more natural to play.
13:01:578 (1) - same idea as before. imo this rhythm is good here:

i honestly don't have any problems with this map, just some minor suggestions. call me back when you get someone to check the timing orz

Hey timing check ~

Earthship ~Uchuusen Chikyuugo: Set on 04:38:935()- <- Second offset

No regret : Set on 05:50:632()- <-- New chorus

True Blue : Set on 13:29:924()- <-- New chorus

And something : 14:15:101()- ~ 14:23:571()- The objects are inaudible and unclikable . Why you not raise the volume in this part ? =/

That's all from me

Good Luck ~
