I've been playing DT for about 2 months now just trying to learn it and somehow my aim seems to be good enough to play 4,5+ stars with DT although, My left hand lacks the speed to burst/stream over 240 bpm so what I'm wondering is what is the best way to train DT speed? is it just to brute force or should I just gradually raise the difficulty once I get comfortable with one star rating? Also thank you for the advice in advanced.
From what I'm seeing in your top plays, you seem to be more inclined to NOMOD stream maps, and pretty good at them, so why did you decide to change to DT?
Did you come to an obstacle and want to farm more pp, or just want to learn a new skillset?
Edit: Anyway, just by playing back and forth with nomod and DT (and other mods aswell) should get you interesting results.

I think they want to be versatile enough to play both NM and DT maps without struggling with one instead of the other, which is totally logical if we think about it

Personally I just find DT fun and I just want to improve at it. Plus I've always wanted to be able to play stream maps with DT like lionheart (4-5 star diffs with DT) and other stream maps.

That is also true, always nice to have more fun in the game with various mods!:3

I understand, for me I improved by playing more low star maps with DT, trying my best to SS every single map I could find, and even improving at HR and HD, even FL (FL is harder to master... i could only play 1-2 star maps with it). But yeah, I could play 4-5 star maps that are AR8, higher than that gets really hard to get used to.
Also you can play more maps with little bursts and triples more frequently, so it can improve your speed and sync with your fingers
i am not a great dt player as im still learning but there are few methods that i have been using to improve -take a jump map and increase the bpm in osu trainer -play high bpm bursts (play, not bruteforce) you can start from what you can do and increase the bpm step by step i can burst around 240 bpm rn you can check what is your consistent max burst and start from there https://ckrisirkc.github.io/osuStreamSpeed.js/newindex.html -dont ignore other skillsets (finger control, reading etc. will be usefull eventually) -dont focus your entire session on dt, it will get boring (most obvious one tbh) -test your limits (dont throw yourself in the hospital by attemting 300 bpm or 8* jumps, just try playing what you think is hard)
and train your alternating to not end like me (i can aim quicker than i can tap on jumps)
DT often involve high tempo burst. When there's stamina/speed aspect, it's more straightforward to simply answer with play more. Both your mechanical skill and mind will adapt as you progress.
You're good with stream, so I believe you can do it!

So basically, get used to high AR and high BPM if you wanna git gud with DT

I initially want to say yeah, but I realised I also just beginning my DT journey. So I can't say that
I'm kinda want to play finger control and tech with DT though
