Well I can spend months without talking to a single person so I don't really need to see and talk to people but I want to
Except when I actually see people IRL my brain just goes "nope" and it takes huge effort to start talking to them
It's much easier when they start talking to me and I just have to reply (I still kinda struggle but it's manageable)

So the standard definition for an introvert is a person who gets their energy from doing activities alone, not in a group. Introverts don't recharge from social interactions, but rather from solitary activities. They aren't actively seeking new social interactions. Meanwhile, an extrovert is the opposite: they actively seek new relationships and recharge being with others. As I said above, though, I believe most land somewhere in the middle, leaning to one of the extremes rather than being one of the extremes.
