You're also giving yourself a rather unfair comparison by trying to compare yourself to others. While I do think it's not doing you too much good to play as high as you are on a regular basis, you're not going to get better if you keep trying to compare yourself to everyone around your rank. Some will do better, some will do worse. That's just how it is.
Rank is frankly less accurate the lower you go (at least IMO), so I wouldn't pay very much attention to this. Additionally, what if you are worse than most people your rank? That's not exactly a problem, it doesn't mean you're playing the game wrong or something. Regarding your feeling of a loss of skill over time, perhaps it is because of your low playcount these past few months? I don't really play the maps to farm them, I just play whatever i feel like it, it's just that the farm ones are the ones that appear at my top playsmelioro wrote:
