일단 시간 없어서 노말만

Normal

  1. 일관성을 가지고 매핑 하셨기 때문에 전체적으로 똑같은 문제 몇개가 반복되는 편이네요.
  2. 리듬 자체는 흠 잡을 데가 없습니다, 근데 자세히 맵을 보시면 1/1 슬라이도 모양에 거의 변화를 주시지 않네요
    그냥 보통 커브 1/1 슬라이더가 아닌 리스트

    다행히도 리버스 슬라이더를 많이 쓰셔서 흐름 변화를 어느 정도 주셨지만 그래도 이렇게 너무 반복적인 슬라이더 패턴은 좀 그렇네요.
    좀 그냥 직선 슬라이더만 몇개 쓰셔도 매우 큰 변화가 있을 겁니다
    제가 보기에는 외형만 개선하면 이 난이도는 준비 될듯

우선 슬라이더를 전체적으로 바꾸는건 나중에 시간이 되면.. 지금은 우선 따로 지적하신 것들만 고쳤어염!

Just some off- spolierbox comments since I think I need to explain to any other modders that might mod :

Was also thinking about the diff names too but guideline also says it should be good if difficulty level is distinguishable by name. First of all, since this map is from BMS and they use difficulty name of :

k7 -> earth -> galaxy -> universe -> four dimensions(already used by other mapset, well it doesnt matter but it's just way too popular xD didnt want to

Should at least logically make sense since I took the diff names from BMS.
And obviously earth->galaxy->universe is scaling bigger so should be distinguishable in common sense too IMO.


Also, I honestly prefer high ODs mainly because I think this is a rhythm-game. OD 7 or below feels more like cursor movin/ZX spamming game for me. I obviously think even lower diffs should have at least OD7 (had to make normal an OD5 because so many ppl complained xD), and OD8 for hard and above.

Purple: Questionable
Red: Highly recommend Left out, consider 80% of my rhythm suggestions as highly recommended.

[General]
  1. Inconsistency in kiais, why does universe's 2nd kiai end at 02:26:854? It should end at 02:22:534 like the other diffs?
  2. Unsnapped sliderends in Universe diff, please check again.
  3. Consider to add an Easy diff to the set. The current Normal one is a bit hard, considering you're using CS4 paired with dense 1/1 rhythms in a high bpm song.
  4. The following hitsound is unused:

  1. Lower OD to 4 at least if you want this diff to be the lowest diff in the set already.
  2. 00:07:533 (3) - Whistle on sliderend for consistency to the previous ones.
  3. 00:34:533 (1,2) - Replace these with 1/1 sliders, this part has pretty low density considering the music is still strong at this point.
  4. 00:43:173 (3,1) - Switch NC.
  5. 01:02:613 (1,2) - Ctrl+g, since 2 starts on a weaker beat than where it ends, making it a weird passive slider to play.
  6. 01:15:573 (1,3) - Trifle, but these are somewhat close to each other.
  7. 01:17:733 (1,2,3) - Minor spacing issue.
  8. 01:22:053 (1) - Delete NC, it's not necessary.
  9. 02:41:974 (1) - Spinner is weird, it should end at 02:44:134 - first since it's not sure what exactly you're trying to follow with it otherwise.
    Try the following rhythm pattern out:

  10. 02:48:454 (1,2) - Avoid polarity issues in the lowest diff of the set, they are difficult to play for new players. Combine them into a backslider.

  12. 03:00:874 (1) - The most important beat at 03:01:414 - gets lost because you try to follow piano too strictly here. Extend this slider by 1/4 beat to at least follow it.
  13. 03:03:574 (2) - Why not making this a backslider? It'd also solve the polarity issue here.
  14. 03:50:015 (3,4) - At points like these, I wish you'd actually go for a blanket. Or 04:07:295 (4,5) -
  15. 03:59:465 (5,1) - Minor spacing issue.
[Hard]
  1. 00:02:133 - I strongly recommend you revisit the intro of this map until 00:08:613 - because you are not following the strong beats (white ticks) on the song, making it counter-intuitive and confusing to play IMO.
  2. 00:14:553 (5) - Make this straight, it looks somewhat awkward here. Also why is the spacing to 00:15:093 (1) - so low, please fix this up. Same for 00:16:038 (3) - , go with 0.8xDS at least.
  3. 00:25:893 (1,1,1,1) - Pattern looks untidy since the first slider doesn have the same visual distance to the others.
  4. 01:03:693 (4,5,6,7) - Check spacing here again.
  5. 01:08:553 (5) - NC here please to indicate the upcoming anti-jump pattern.
  6. 01:09:093 (1,2) - Slider follows the piano, but this is still pretty awkward to play due to strange polarity switches imo. Extend by 1/4 for a more stable rhythm.
    This seems to occur in the other kiais as well, so please take a look at them again.
  7. 01:19:893 (1) - That stacking comes sudden and is not very intuitive, please unstack.
  8. 01:46:894 (1) - Looks really fast, i'd lower it a bit more (1.2SV). Also fix the upcoming blanket.
  9. 01:50:134 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing fix
  10. 02:21:454 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Way too high diff peak in this diff when compared to other patterns. Please replace the first four beats with sliders instead.
  11. 02:51:154 (1,2,3) - Sorry, but this is a no-go for me at this difficulty stage. The rhythm pattern you're going for here comes really surprising, and even if it follows the piano, it is not intuitive to play at all due to these sudden polarity switches in a row.
    Simplify the rhythm here please.

  15. 03:31:655 (1,2,3) - Idk, this structure looks pretty randomly thrown into this map.

  17. 03:47:180 (2) - Bad offbeat slider, 2 circles?
  18. 03:48:665 (2) - 1/2 slider here please, note density feels pretty low here.
  19. 03:53:255 (1,2,3,4) - Again, spacing.
  20. 04:14:180 (2,3) - Increase the spacing here since 04:13:775 (1,2) - are actually overlapping in gameplay.
  21. 04:15:935 (5) - Divide into 2 backsliders please, this kickslider is a bit confusing to play.
  22. I saw lots of spacing inconsistencies and untidy patterns throughout this map, so please have a look at this again.
[Insane]
  1. 00:03:213 (1,2,3) - Plays weird due to polarity issue again. Try the following, it'd also make the rhythm pattern consistent to the next one:

  2. 00:30:213 (1,2,3) - It's always a bad sign when you end up with so many polarity switches at once, please clean this rhythm pattern up.
    Gneral note: The melody tends to break out of the ordinary rhythm that is followed by the beats (white ticks), making it tempting to follow it for more rhythmical variation.
    But consider that by doing so you create really unstable sections which are irritating and frustating to play since it's almost unpredictable to sightread them (ask yourself, could you 300s these sections properly?).

    This issue seems to occur throughout all your maps, so please try to fix this issue by focussing more on beats that lie on white and red ticks. While they are following the mmelody less, you create more stable patterns to play.
  3. 00:53:298 (2,3,4) - Ctrl+g to avoid the nasty offbeat sliders.
  4. 00:59:913 (1) - Swap with two sliders instead, this 2x repeat slider takes away the momentum pretty hard.
  5. 01:04:233 (1,2,3,4) - Really, you shouldn't stack that much ,especially at tense parts like these which are actually highlights of the song. Space these out.
  6. 02:00:124 (2,3) - This jump comes all of a sudden with no clear indicator in the track. Please rework this pattern.
  7. 02:02:554 (3,1) - 1 is a strong emphasized beat, so why do you set spacing so low at this point?
  8. 02:16:864 (4) - Why would you go over a strong beat like 02:17:134 - ? ;-;
  9. 03:03:034 (5) - End this on the previous red tick first, there's no clear beat on the blue tick to follow. Same for 03:05:194 (5) -
  10. 03:05:734 (1,2) - This gap feels really awkward.
  11. 03:12:349 (2,3,4) - I explained the issue above already, so here the suggestion:

  1. The same issue about polarity switches goes for this diff as well.
  2. 00:18:333 (1,2,3,1) - Confusing distance to the next combo, the distance should be higher or set a beat at 00:18:738 - for a smoother transition.
  3. 00:48:978 (2,3,4) - Ctrl+g to avoid offbeat sliders. Same at 02:00:259 (2,3,4) - 03:43:940 (2,3) -
  4. 01:41:493 (2) - Ctrl+g, spacing to the previous slider is way too low.
  5. 03:07:692 - The strong piano beats already at 03:07:624 (5) - , you are clearly missing 03:07:692 - this beat as well.
  6. 03:10:459 (2) - NC, since these are shorter than 03:10:054 (1) - , makes it more intuitive to play.
  7. 03:11:809 (1,2) - Why not stream here?
  8. 04:01:220 (2) - Replace with two circles here to avoid offbeat slider. Same for 04:07:700 (2) -
This set still needs a lot of work in my eyes. The visual design is decent, supposing that you're more of an old-style mapper. There are some patterns that I felt were out of place, some tidying up would be helpful still. The biggest concern is your rhythm structuring, consisting of many unnecessary offbeat sliders and polarity issues which I explained above and which you should take care of immediately if you want to push this set forward.

Anyways, good luck with the set. Nice work so far.

  2. 00:14:553 (5) - Make this straight, it looks somewhat awkward here. Also why is the spacing to 00:15:093 (1) - so low, please fix this up. Same for 00:16:038 (3) - , go with 0.8xDS at least.
  3. 00:25:893 (1,1,1,1) - Pattern looks untidy since the first slider doesn have the same visual distance to the others.
  4. 01:03:693 (4,5,6,7) - Check spacing here again.
  5. 01:08:553 (5) - NC here please to indicate the upcoming anti-jump pattern.
  6. 01:09:093 (1,2) - Slider follows the piano, but this is still pretty awkward to play due to strange polarity switches imo. Extend by 1/4 for a more stable rhythm.
    This seems to occur in the other kiais as well, so please take a look at them again.

    111.11BPM 1/4(222.22bpm 1/4) streams are not hard even for moderate players who actually does play 2.8 star. in fact I do have a friend who actually struggles on 3 stars but usually he has no problem doing 111bpm streams no matter how long they are. This part is just a indicater that I want to highlight this part not for a difficulty spike (looking at your rank you obviously don't play 3 stars or even if you do you don't struggle tbh, right? neither do I. I usually seek for a suitable person that actually might play this and ask for testplay because I didn't want to judge a difficulty that I don't play by myself. However what i see is this part is not where they struggle)

  2. 00:30:213 (1,2,3) - It's always a bad sign when you end up with so many polarity switches at once, please clean this rhythm pattern up.
    Gneral note: The melody tends to break out of the ordinary rhythm that is followed by the beats (white ticks), making it tempting to follow it for more rhythmical variation.
    But consider that by doing so you create really unstable sections which are irritating and frustating to play since it's almost unpredictable to sightread them (ask yourself, could you 300s these sections properly?).

    This issue seems to occur throughout all your maps, so please try to fix this issue by focussing more on beats that lie on white and red ticks. While they are following the mmelody less, you create more stable patterns to play.

    It's always a bad sign when a map is full of 1/2s if they are just because to create consistency and playability. after of all, since I do understand this can be confusing those patterns usually send with sliders(you don't even have to know the rhythm for sliderend just for playing)
    Honestly you can map any song with full of 1/2s and some 1/4 triples and my personnel opinion on this is very no, so I'll go with mine (although will be fixed if they really do feel out of ordinary)

This set still needs a lot of work in my eyes. The visual design is decent, supposing that you're more of an old-style mapper. There are some patterns that I felt were out of place, some tidying up would be helpful still. The biggest concern is your rhythm structuring, consisting of many unnecessary offbeat sliders and polarity issues which I explained above and which you should take care of immediately if you want to push this set forward.

Anyways, good luck with the set. Nice work so far.

모드 답변 관련해서는 IRC로 많이 드렸고 다른 난이도도 고쳐지지 않은 부분이 있다면 비슷한 이유로 고치지 않았어용


AR같은 경우는 전 고AR도 별로 좋아하지 않습니다. 근본적으로 AR이 높아야하는 이유가 있다면 배치가 복잡해서 낮은 AR로는 읽기 힘들떈데 솔직히 이 맵의 배치는 아주 단순하고 정직하다고 생각해요. BPM이 워낙 빠르니 무빙도 쉽지만은 않고 스트림이 워낙 많긴 하지만 맵 리딩 자체는 엄청 쉽다고 봅니다

리딩이 쉬운 맵에 고AR을 쓰는게 오히려 옳지 않다고 생각해요(요즘 대세가 틀렸다고 생각함 이부분은)


콤보 컬러같은 경우는 분명 님이 추천해주신 그대로(아마 오수 기본스킨 칼라인것 같아요) 쓰고 콤보컬러 체크까지 했는데 이상하게 적용이 안되네여 그냥 버근가..암튼

  2. 00:11:043 (3) - You might want to shorten this slider to 1/2 so you can map the beat at 00:11:313 - .

  4. 00:37:233 (3,4,1) - This flows kind of poorly because of the large jump from 3>4 and then the short DS from 4 into the 1/3 streams. This is also assuming players use slider-leniency and won't actually play out the slider (The DS problem would be even worse if you played them out instead of using drop-off)
  5. 00:55:526 - Note here? the stream begins on 4.
  6. 01:09:498 (4,5) - I think you could improve the flow here. It's very sharp compared to other places like 01:10:983 (4,1) - .
  7. 02:09:304 (1,2) - Ctrl+G'ing them would create a nice circular flow. Also you should have a larger jump from 02:09:439 (2,1) - So you can emphasize the slider better.
  8. 02:14:164 (2,3) - This seems out of place with your rhythm. It really doesn't help that slider 3 begins on a red tick. kind of awkward since the slider-end is stronger than slider-head.

  4. 01:02:613 (1,2,3) - This rhythm is a bit weird since you skip out the beat at 01:03:558 - . I think you should copy the rhythm for 01:03:693 (4,5,6,7) - Because them there won't be an awkward gap in between.
  5. 03:16:534 (1,2,3,4,1,2,1) - I wish you used more of these repeat sliders when mapping the "streams" in the song :P. Parts like 02:12:814 (1,2,3) - 02:16:054 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - 02:22:534 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,1) - Could have used some of these repeat sliders so the object density is more balanced. You have patterns like 02:21:454 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Which are really dense, followed by pure 1/1 slider usage which create large difficulty gaps, as well as density imbalance. I think you could either buff some of these sections (I only mentioned a few, there are probably some more) or nerf the 1/2 circle patterns you use so reduce density. At the moment, I fear the difference in density/difficulty between these patterns might be too large to pass QAT :P.

but fixed most of stuffs on both diffs while on normal diff, I honestly don't know how to change last parts because putting anything dense then 1/1 on normal feels too overwhelming..

your entire beat map seems to be offset from the main beat of the song, that being said you can improve it a lot by shortening sliders and sticking to the MAIN beat; especially for the easier levels. other than that its not too bad.

일단 전체적으로 여기저기 손본 곳이 많아서 모딩 전과는 아예 패턴 자체가 달라진 곳이 있어서 애매하기도 하고..

고친 것도 있고 안 고친 것도 있는데 사실 안 고친 건 크게 고칠 이유를 느끼지 못했고 제 박자나 느낌이 조금 더 맘에 들어서 놔뒀다는 것 이상의 답변은 사실 힘들고...한데 이걸 뭐라 딱히 이건 고쳤다 이건 안 고쳤다 하기도 뭐해서 그냥 생략하겠습니당! 이해해 주시리라고 믿습니다(우울

haha thanks but not likely though, primarily because the map isnt enough yet(universe diff is on its way to remap anyway right now), and I just keep prefer to change maps so I don't think I'll even try to think untill I'm happy with my own map owo/

good map, much more enjoyable than the other version we all know and hate
some parts should be tuned a bit down in the Universe I feel cause high spacing is good, but it's also mostly not fun to play

current universe (after remapping, not sure if you still have old though) does not have excess spaced-out stream imo, probably one part that I REALLY want to emphasize I guess?

However I actually love the currently approved FD(by nakagawa-kanon) though, lets not try to bring out another map here :>
